Dr. Sekut is incredibly informative and genuinely caring with our puppy, always taking the time to explain each step of his care so we feel fully informed. The front desk staff are punctual, friendly, and welcoming, making every visit a pleasant experience. We’ve been here twice, and each time, we’ve left feeling confident that our puppy is in excellent hands. Highly recommend Dr. Sekut and his team!

Dr. Sekut and his entire staff are the kindest, most loving, knowledgeable group of care givers you will ever find. As with all pet lovers, our Suzi (dog) is so precious to us that we don't trust her care to anyone, except Dr. Sekut and his staff at NN Animal Hospital. We love them and you will too.?

Dr Sekut is hands down the best vet I’ve ever gone too. He truly cares about animals and he has always gone above and beyond. I truly wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. They feel like family.

Can’t say enough good about Dr. Sekut and his staff at NNAH. We’ve been bringing our pets to him for years and are always impressed with his care and true compassion for our fur family. Without a doubt we believe we still have our little guy Toby with us today because of Dr. Sekuts care and genuine interest in keeping him as healthy as possible throughout his life and carefully treating him with his heart condition. At NNAH we have never felt like just a number. He treats our pets as if they were his own.

I have been going to this vet for years with my dog Rockie. Dr. S is the BEST! Unlike other vets, his primary goal is to help the animals and not to get rich. My dog was having joint issues and Dr. S gave us some chews to help…needless to say my dog is all better now and we didn’t have to pay for an unnecessary surgery. The staff is always nice and they are just as patient and caring as Dr. S! When me and Rockie arrived, the staff promptly checks us in and we always see Dr.S right away. No matter how busy the office he takes his time with every pet and his staff always schedules appointments with that in mind, not causing anyone to wait long ever! If you don’t want to be overcharged and want a caring environment for you and your pet trust me this is your place!!!

Outrageous prices. Long wait times. I trusted the reviews, they are dead wrong. Without getting into specifics, we asked for one thing, we waited at least an hour past the appointment time and he didn't do it. He did other things and then charged us exorbitantly.
Maybe it was a bad day. So we came back another day. Same thing. He STILL didn't give our dog the basic shot we requested. For the exorbitant prices you think he would at least listen, or read what his staff wrote down.
We've had much better service at other vets and for far more reasonable prices. The vet is overly intense too. He dosen't blink, and has his eyes open really wide. His accent is super thick. He talks really fast and then just leaves. Talking really fast without blinking dosen't make him knowleadgeable. Not being clear about the costs he's going to foist on you is unethical. This establishment takes advantage of people who just want to care for their pets. The rave reviews must not have ever gone anywhere else and have anything to compare it too, or the bar is just that low in Virginia.

Dr Sekut is very thorough, and compassionate he went beyond to figure out what was going on with my cat . He consoled my cat and he even calmed him down, I will be switching all my animals to him .

Doc is amazing! He cares so much and works very hard and long hours. He is highly educated and his intelligence is off the charts. On top of that his doctor/patient relationships are genuine and we appreciate him so much!
The gals on staff are also amazing and so courteous and sweet.
Doc is amazing and he has a customer for life!

We love Dr. Les! Our Border Collie suffered from gran mal seizures and a sick liver until Dr. Les did the right tests and prescribed the right medicine. We have two healthy dogs thanks to Newport News Animal Hospital.

Walked in today to see about getting an appointment . The woman, with long black hair, saw me walk in, and then mumbled that she would be back . I waited 15 minutes before she returned. Unprofessional and rude ! I decided to try VCA. I was bringing my cat here for the last two years and my patience finally ran out with the staff here . Dr . Sekut is great but front desk staff is lacking .
It took another 10 minutes to get a foot of my cats records.
