They were late. They broke our entertainment center made of glass. There charged us according to quote of 3 hours, but they spent only 1.5 - 2 hours. Not recommended.-----------Edit: The damaged item was indeed old but it was in really good condition and we expected that it would still survive the trip as it had for the last 3 moves before this one.

These guys were responsive, punctual, and thorough. They showed up when they said they would, did the job - more than we originally discussed - and made every effort to take the stress and chaos out of packing and loading a household. I'd certainly use them again, and recommend them.

My experience with Monarch Movers was stellar! They remained in constant contact with me, adjusted their schedule to fit mine and once there, were NOTHING short of amazing with my family! Anything that seemed questionable, before even TOUCHING it was brought to my attention. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to relocate!

They were responsive, punctual, careful and thorough. They showed up when they said, worked hard and carefully, and ended up doing more than we originally estimated. They packed and loaded a large household that was not very well prepared. When we hit snags, they worked with us to sort them out. We had some special requests and they delivered. I'd use them again, and I recommend them.

From start to finish. It was simple and easy and my conversation with the gentleman on the phone. He was patient and professional and accurate on my move time/cost. My movers showed up on time and were quick to wrap my furniture as well as take apart two beds and remove the mirror carefully wrapped. The owner called to check on the move since we delayed it one day on his advise due to the weather. I am happy with how well the three men packed my belongings in my storage unit. Easy for me to reach items were placed as I requested. I would use again in my next move.

From the first phone call. Aaron was prompt, patient and ensuring.I explained I had a bad experience with another moving company a few years ago.I went to Angie's and researched local moving companies.I chose to go with Monarch after the reviews and that is a veteran owned company.Arron with his experience discussed with me with my timeframe and deadline. The weather could be a factor. He was correct.Wayne the owner phone me to advise me that it would be raining all day.Arron was correct.We arranged the next day.The crew was polite professional and timely.E. Was definitely ready to communicate with in what I needed done.My last experience lead to being charged double when they got to my home. And a broken flat screen.That was not the case with Monarch.My furniture was wrapped and protected.And nothing broken or damaged floors or walls.I will definitely use them again.

the pre move communications were on point and all promises made were kept. The moving team was awesome - they did all we asked and then some and were extremely courteous and friendly. Overall it was an excellent experience. Go Monarch Movers!!!

Don't call them. I scheduled a quote consult. Wayne did not come at the agreed upon time and when I called to complain he said he felt like he was being scolded. He said he thought he was providing a courtesy by 1. not coming at the agreed upon time 2. coming after work hours. Simple communication via email, text or call could have prevented the unprofessional exchange I just received. Even if they were free I still wouldn't use them. The bad part is I sought them out based on a conversation I had with someone. I dont think Wayne knows the definition of customer service.

I loved working with this moving company as they were very professional in managing mymove in Virginia Beach/Newport News area. I found that the staff was friendly and very helpful in meeting my needs and overall would recommend the service to others as well!
