We have had a few experiences with JLH, initially were good with typical repairs (brakes, suspension, etc), however had a more complicated repair (replacing the BCM - computer chip) and only had problems after. Once we got the car back after the replacement, all the warning lights were on, AVS, airbags, Backup camera and radio completely stopped working. Initially Justin was responsive, attempted to reprogram the BCM and work with us, however once he couldn't figure out why this repair caused so many problems, he stopped returning our calls and told us for 1 full year he was waiting on a different machine that would help with the problem. We drove this car for a full year without a radio or backup camera (which were completely functional before replacing this part).I finally grew tired of waiting and asked Justin if we could take it to the dealership and have them fix it, he said that if it was related to the work he had done that JLH would pay for it. I went to the dealer and they said the BCM needed replacement, they did it and magically everything worked again (backup camera and radio included). When I contacted Justin to coordinate payment with the dealership, he became upset and said he wasn't paying it since that was the part he replaced. He refused to contact the dealership to see why the previous part didn't work or work with us at all. My wife stopped by the office to speak to him in person to try to resolve this so we could get our car back, and he threatened to call the police on her. (She never yelled or raised her voice). We ended up having to pay the dealer for the BCM replacement, which we had also paid JLH for which was never done properly. Very disappointed that the dealer found the issue was the very part Justin had replaced and he refused to cover the cost of the final repair- despite telling us that he would. Should have gotten it in writing.Sadly he lost a customer over this, we were previously happy with their work for the normal stuff, but would not go back after this experience.To respond to the owner- we never asked you to guarantee the original diagnosis, we asked you to guarantee YOUR work, which only caused more problems for our car. And you refused to finish what you started and intentionally deceived us that you were working on a fix or intended to cover the cost of repair with the dealer. That is our issue, not the diagnosis by the dealership. And you felt threatened by my wife because she called you a coward for not sticking to your word. That's why you threatened to call the police.

 I rarely leave negative reviews because in our humanity, I am well aware that nobody’s perfect. But since JLH motors is right on the edge of our community, I will offer a word of warning that the owner is not trustworthy. We paid $700 for a part last year to be fixed and after six or seven attempts they were unable to replace the part successfully. The owner told us last week they would pay the bill if the dealership could replace the part successfully, which the dealership did. Today the owner went back on his word and will not pay the $600 bill for us from the dealership. Instead of paying, he gave me reasons why he was not responsible to pay for this part to be fixed. Which would be fine except that 6 days ago he said he would pay the bill and now that we have the bill he said he’s not going to pay the bill. So being a person of your word is really important, I told him that his reputation was probably worth more than $600 and he told me that it wasn’t. So I said that I would have to leave a negative referral and I’m a person of my word so here it is.I would like to mention that in the past, I have worked with Ricardo, and he was delightful to work with. But he no longer works there, for reasons that I don’t know. But the owner,Justin, is not delightful to work with if for whatever reason the repair does not go smoothly.

What an amazing group of people! The owner is not only extremely knowledgeable about everything Lexus but is an amazing guy as well! If you need repairs of any kind in the area, this is the place. Honest, trustworthy and will be guaranteed an amazing experience!

I was totally satisfied and appreciated the honesty and friendly customer service that I received from Justin. I will definitely be going back. It is hard to find honest mechanics these days and I totally felt comfortable with their service. He stated he wasn't going to charge me just to be charging me. Again thank you very much Justin.

I’ve got an older Tundra these guys have worked on 3 times now over the past year and a half for preventative maintenance, and just… a vehicle having 200k miles on it. I’ve found them to be unbelievably efficient, responsive, and honest. Owner seems like a solid guy that enjoys his job and owning his own place. Can’t recommend enough.

I can’t thank this team enough for taking care of my Supra- understanding the layers that we had to go through to get her back in shape. This team was understanding and one of a very few that were even willing to entertain digging in. I am about to pick her up- she is driving so well and it makes my heart full. 10/10 would recommend JLH Motors. Fantastic customer service every time I have interacted with them. There is a stigma around mechanic shops that they will try and upsell you and perform work that is not needed at exorbitant prices. JLH breaks this stigma, they perform the maintenance that is necessary in a timely and professional manner at prices that are more than fair. I brought my car in for repair they mess up the battery cable in the process and wanted me to pay for that then I came to pick the car up it had so much more problems I had to take the bus home they telling me the engine mount went bad and I need a gasket for the muffler it sounded bad I took the bus just scared to drive it like that bad experience But they took care of me in the end the owner step in and made things right so I would do business with them again thanks to the owner for making things right
