The inspection was done quickly and the reasons for rejection was listed on my receipt. The reason I'm only giving one star is because the person at the service desk was brusque and seemed totally bored/exasperated when I tried explaining the problems I could see. When the service desk called me to let me know it was ready and rejected, I asked him what a ballpark figure fix the problems would be, he said something like I don't have that figure, I was told we wouldn't be fixing that. So, yeah. People remember how you make them feel.

Horrible service, Charged me 800$ total to fix a power steering issue and my power steering is still leaking. These people they will lie to you - told me to my face repairs its under warranty after dropping it off to fix the broken pump they put in then charged me 300$ for two power steering lines. I wish I had known prior to going there in the first place what kind of business this is, charge way too much for simple work and they don't even do it right. These people don't want to work with you or care about helping with your problem they just want money don't trust them.

I have always had great service at Hornsby. My tire was going flat I went ti discount tires because I needed a quick fix all they did was do a horrible pitch job and told me I needed tires immediately. Tire lost pressure again took it to Hornsby they patch the tire correctly without a problem and told me I don’t need tires u til six months. Thank you Hornsby for being there fir ne and caring for my safety

Extremely disappointed in hornsby. Will NEVER give them another penny! I've used them in the past for an oil change and was referred by someone who uses them often. I went for inspection knowing I had some issues with my front end. As expected I failed and they gave me a list of all the things that needed to be fixed as well as a list of things that absolutely needed to be done in order to pass inspection. They quoted me $2k. I declined to get it fixed with them as I have several friends who are mechanics just not state inspectors. I fix every single thing on the list except the front blinker light bulb because we inspected every light on the car and none were out. I take it back to hornsby after fixing everything to be re inspected and they come up with $600 worth of more stuff to fix. (Loose control arm and 1 upper ball joint) Things that should have been on the list to begin with if they had done the full inspection I paid for to begin with. I ask their head mechanic why these things werent on the failure list to begin with if a full inspection was done and 2 if it were really broken. He has absolutely no logical answer for me and was stuttering basically saying that his "guy" mustve missed it and he doesnt even know who inspected it etc. I walked out because I could smell the bs coming from his mouth. I paid once again for a full inspection and left. I took my car to another state inspector station and they said that the ball joint is absolutely fine and doesnt need to be replaced nor does the blinker light that they failed me for twice. Yes the control arm was loose. It's one thing to miss something on an inspection but to claim parts need to be replaced that dont is something else.

The wife and I were on our anniversary camping trip and had a tire go down on our fith wheel camper. VDOT worker recommended Hornsby to us. Went over there. Got us in quickly. Had a new valve stem installed and on our way. Thanks Hornsby, you guys are awesome!

I called about tires, suspension diagnosis, and alignment they were able to squeeze me in the next day. Repairs were and state inspection were performed. Customer service was good. I was able to drop off before business hours and was updated via phone with estimates and progress reports. Pick up and payment was seamless and efficient.

This place is always on point..
Very courteous front desk people... I can't think of the 2 guys name.. but they always have a friend repore with all the customers everytime I went...
They always tell you everything that's wrong with my vehicle.. and offers great deals...
They also send coupons through the mail..which come in handy..
My place..for oil changes.. inspections.. tires...
