Came in looking for a new car and they were helpful from the second I walked through the door. Joel was amazing and took care of me and walked me through it all, great salesman. Catherine was really helpful and finalized all my paperwork and put me in my brand new car. Would definitely go back when i’m looking to upgrade.

I had a great experience here - I went to a lot of dealerships before I found the one I wanted to work with, and once I was at Southern Hyundai, it was a no- brainer. Logan and Carter found me the car I wanted and grandfather it in from Richmond. Catherine was great - making sure I understood all the paperwork. Mike helped show me the ins and outs on delivery - it was just a pleasant experience all around.

Chris B. and Mike S. went out of their way to help me understand my purchase. As someone who hasn’t made a car payment in over 20 years, this was an anxious experience for me. Mike and Chris allowed me to test drive a bit longer than the standard test drive, which allowed me to fall in love with my new purchase, including a most lovely green exterior that I am now smitten with. Chris Clifton made our car buying experience great. He is knowledgeable, professional, patient and kind. There is an ease to his demeanor that comes from experience. He walked us through the process and made it seamless. He took the time to answer all our questions and show us how to make the most of our new vehicle options. He treated us like family. We are thrilled with all the safety features of the Tuscon we purchased from Southern Hyundai Newport News! Christopher Beck explained the finance options thoroughly and tailor made a package to suit our needs and budget. What a great team!

Chris B and Chris C gave me excellent service and got me in the car I wanted for the price I wanted. Car buying is always a stressful process, but they both put me at ease. Also, I enjoyed the music they had playing in the lobby...don't know if that matters to other people, but it made me more relaxed singing along with 80s and 90s music while I waited. Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the market for a new vehicle!

The Service Advisor did not smile and wasn't friendly. I looked through the window of the garage to see if my car was still there, and the technician opened the bay door and rudely informed me that he's almost finished. When I called to set my appointment, I inquired about the cost of an oil change, and I was told $100 plus tax. I was overcharged $25.00 Poor customer service, so I will NOT return.

Logan Martin helped us find a vehicle in our budget! We didn’t think we could afford an older, good used car but with the new car warranties southern Hyundai provides, we were able to leave with a 2024 without exceeding our budget.
I never would have imagined! So if you’re looking for a car, definitely ask for Logan! Chris in finance was also great and helpful with explaining what was included in each warranty. Both gentleman happily answered an excessive amount of questions so we could feel comfortable with our first new car buying experience!
