“I wish I could give 7 stars!! I’m not usually a person who drops into gyms especially by myself but the culture and environment was so welcoming that I not only dropped in, I was there 4 of the 4 days I was in Virginia. I did class and open gym. In fact, Coach Colby was so welcoming I went from open gym to class. Every coach made an extra effort to welcome me and multiple gym members introduced themselves and made me feel welcome even when I was doing open gym in the back. I cannot speak more highly of this gym. If you’re in town, check it out!!”

“I am thrilled to find this gym. It has everything to get and stay in shape. Well designed workouts, times to meet my busy schedule, and a coach providing group instruction and watching form as the class goes on. The others in the group are very supportive. There are many long term members. The Facebook group and nutritional reminders are also a great supportive bonus.”

“If you need a gym that's going to help hold you accountable and encourage you to work out, orange theory is the place to go! There are a variety of ages and fitness levels at the studio and it is such a welcoming environment. It is well worth the monthly fee and is a great investment to make for your health!”

“I just came here to say that this gym is so ??well ?? run ?? (Thank you Jen!). Time and time again I’ve seen these women handle medical emergencies and all kinds of other crises expertly and without skipping a beat on leading the workout. No matter what level you’re training at, the trainers remember your name, and encourage you to push yourself a little further. They encourage modifications for pregnancy, differences in physical ability, or if you’re just generally having a rough time with the workout - without shame or calling the whole room’s attention to it. I don’t get here often enough but I’m truly grateful that I can go when I can.”

“I worked out at a lot of Golds Gyms before I moved to Hampton Roads, and it was OK. Total fitness feels much more like a family. Group training is super affordable- I could never afford a trainer before- and allowed me to start competing at local power lifting competitions. I focus on lifting more weight and getting in shape happens while I’m having fun. I wouldn’t work out anywhere else if I lived within 45 min of Total Fitness. Best 24 hour gym for free weights and affordable training. No question about it.”

“George, the owner, is a fantastic gym manager that genuinely cares about his gym members. My family and I have done business with George since 2021, and he's even cut deals for me when I'm back in the area for two weeks on reserve duty every year. He even bought a few of the plates I had laying around when I sold my home gym. He's never tried to upsell us on anything, is very flexible with gym use (doesn't mind me lifting barefoot when I forget my shoes, doesn't have an issue with tripods to record my form) and even has a chalk box available. This gym is suitable for casual use on up to competitive powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and bodybuilding - and it's affordable, too.I highly recommend Fit Bodies Unlimited (all of their locations) and you will never regret doing business with George. He's a fantastic individual that runs an amazing business.”

“THIS has been above and beyond a godsend, for my special needs son after school. The inclusion of the staff and the other youth is humbling and beautiful. Everyone is professional, and family oriented, and I could not have asked for better group for my son to be a part of. The other kids just run up to the staff as family, and they interact like family. That sense of safety and peace of mind as an on looking parent shows me how genuine they really are. My only regret, is not knowing about their services sooner.”

“I personally prefer this facility over Anderson.Smaller, but not usually as busy. I prefer to look out the window from the cardio room instead of watching TV and staring at a wall. Less wait time between sets due to less people in the weight room. The basketball court here has been converted to a CrossFit room. This facility also offers 24 hour access to registered ID card holders as well.”

“Best CrossFit, functional fitness, high-intensity gym in the area. I have hit PRs in all my power lifts, Olympic lifts, unbroken gymnastic movements, and everything in between even after 15 years of training. Enough about me; let me share what I have seen in this gym. If this sounds like you or falls somewhere in between, then stop by and see for yourself.Athletes aged 4 to 84, from never having touched a weight to experienced CrossFitters. I have seen athletes get their first pull-up, box jump, muscle-up, to athletes getting their 10th unbroken muscle-up, and hitting lifetime PRs in power and Olympic lifting. Athletes come here and pass firefighter, police, and military fitness tests. Athletes come for prehab and rehab from various surgeries. Adaptive athletes train next to everyone. Athletes up to nine months pregnant and just after birth train here. Coaches hold newborns so new parents can still train. Children hang out together in the kids' room while parents focus on themselves for 1 hour of their busy day. The coaches do the same program as the members and participate in class workouts. High school and collegiate athletes train here in the offseason. Coaches provide nutritional counseling and meal prepping for interested athletes. Athletes typically spend 3 to 10 hours a week here; just show up and commit to 1 hour at a time, you will not be disappointed. The athletes are part of a family and hang out together, seek advice/recommendations, and hold each other accountable. If you want to hit PRs, become a better athlete, or jump-start your health and fitness journey, then stop by and see if it’s a good fit.”

“The gym experience here was fantastic but I was in a car accident and it has limited my use for the membership. How do I cancel without being penalized. My income has decreased as well since accident.”

“For a gym I don't have to pay to use, it is adequate to meet almost all muscle group needs. Langley is better equipped but is usually more busy. Anderson is the main gym, has full basketball court, large cardio room, decent weight room, and saunas in both locker rooms.Pool schedule is terrible but other than that it's not planet fitness ?”

“Joining OneLife Fitness was a pivotal moment in my fitness journey, but the real game-changer has been working with Robin B., a truly remarkable trainer. From our very first session, Robin demonstrated an unwavering commitment to my personal goals, crafting a tailored workout plan that not only challenges me physically but also aligns perfectly with my aspirations. What sets Robin apart is her holistic approach to fitness. She doesn't just focus on the workouts; she delves into nutritional advice, encouraging healthier eating habits that complement our sessions. Her dedication goes beyond the gym walls, as she consistently checks in to ensure I'm staying on track, offering that much-needed nudge to keep me motivated.Initially, I had only planned to engage in personal training for three months. However, Robin's infectious enthusiasm and genuine care for my well-being have made me a lifelong advocate for not just her training but a healthier lifestyle in general. She holds me accountable for maintaining my fitness regimen outside our scheduled sessions, a practice that has profoundly impacted my dedication to staying active. Each session with Robin is a step up, pushing me to surpass my limits in the most supportive way imaginable. It's her kindness, professionalism, and personalized attention that make every challenging workout feel like a milestone achieved together. The warmth and expertise Robin brings to her role are unparalleled. Her presence at OneLife is the sole reason I continue to be a proud member. The gym houses state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, but it's the exceptional people like Robin that truly make it a community. As long as OneLife continues to employ such extraordinary talent, they can count on my unwavering patronage. Robin isn't just a trainer; she's a life-changer, and I'm immensely grateful for her guidance on this journey to a healthier, happier me.”

“With tons of construction going on around this place it is a maze to get in here, but out of a gauntlet of construction trucks emerges a decent parking lot and modern building called the Riverview Gymnastics Center. This is where Newport News Parks and Recreation offers affordable dance and gymnastics instruction. The gym seems fully equipped with everything a student would need to begin mastery of gymnastics. The class for 3 and 4 year olds has 2 very hands on instructors. Parents and observers sit outside the gymnasium and view through safety glass. The premises is staffed at entry and seems very clean and well managed. I imagine this is a hidden gem in Newport News for those who want to pursue dance or gymnastics instruction.”

“Nice place but a lot of the staff there seem bored and don't really seem to care about their job. They have a good weight selection and cardio selection is good. The sauna in the men's locker room leaves a lot to be desired.”
