The pharmacists and techs at this pharmacy are always friendly and helpful. Always. I always have positive experiences, even when they’re busy. Recently, I had a little snafu there but they handled it well , fixed it right away. That helped define my impressions of them and just adds to why they have it together there. It’s the little things in life and knowing we can rely on this pharmacy is one of them.

Always great to go to Costco. Food court was kept clean, bathrooms were nice, and they keep every in stock.

1 Star for Customer Service. This was the first time using Costco’s pharmacy and it was for one of my pets. I dropped the prescription off 11 days ago (a Monday). It was for one 1-month prescription with no refills. They only had 20 of the 100 pills in stock. I took them and was assured they would place an order on Thursday as that was when they did their animal prescriptions and I would receive a text when it was ready. I called today (Friday and 11 days later) and the first time the tech hung up on me. I called again (reached the same tech) and was told they didn’t have it because I didn’t call in a refill. I told her — No - I was told the balance would be ordered Thursday of last week as that was when Costco placed orders for animals. She then said that was miscommunicated. She then put me on hold and when she came back told me they don’t have my dosage in stock but do have a strength twice what was prescribed and instead of giving it twice a day I could just give it once a day. Can pharmacy techs recommend changes to a Vet’s orders?

***This review is specific to the tire shop. Drew, a writer and the front counter, is exceptionally professional. He arranged to get my tires in and have them installed the following day (as a walk in). By mid day my truck was ready to go. Jimmy, the shop manager, called to let me know that the center cap on one of my wheels (truck is 20 years old) had failed. It was obvious that he was concerned about blame but I was fully aware that age was the most likely cause. I'm glad to have my truck back on the road in a timely and professional manner. Well done, gents.

Costco Pharmacy surpasses the rest. You don’t have to be a member. They have the greatest service. Ms Rose who is the Pharmacist will help you and answer your concerns. Everyone is pleasant and efficient. They work as a team. Your meds will be less than other pharmacies. Then you have a huge section with over the counter meds at good prices. Immunizations are available. I drive 45 miles each way because they know my name.

This Costco makes me literally insane, the parking lot is like a demolition derby and people are going crazy trying to find parking- this part of the trip makes me rarely want to come. The service is just whatever it's a race to get you out because of how busy it is which can make for a stressful checkout process. The store is clean for the most part. This particular visit they were low on a lot of food items. They only had organic chicken but it's all good. Until they build another one in the area this is what you can expect.

Every time I go to Costco I ended up finding something new. Self-control is a serious issue here for me because they have so many great offers and if you are good a meal planning and prepping then this is the place for you! Their bagels are my daughters favorite and we can't go without purchasing one of their amazing rotisserie chickens. If they are available I usually get two and pull them right away. We store the chicken and use it in a bunch of different meals for the week. So good! When it comes to clothing, it might not be my go to, but I have found some great deals on quality outfits here. So, I always take a brief minute or two to check out the clothing section and see if there's some that I just can't live without. Weekends are crazy here! So, I try to avoid it on the weekends if at all possible.

The Newport news pharmacy staff do not hold up to the Costco brand and reputation. The same people working there for years with the same attitudes, unwillingness to help and inability when you need assistance. I switched and recommend the same for others.

Rudest pharmacist I’ve EVER dealt with. Literally tried lying and saying prescriptions are NOT FDA regulated my OTC allergy medicine is….I believe her name was Rose? She was a mid-50s black woman with long braided hair, around 5’10 and medium build. I will NEVER deal with Costco pharmacy again. She clearly tries to prevent people from getting any medication they need. I’d give zero stars if I could.

We really love this location, well and Costco for that matter. Of course parking is a nut house. But, we manage because we love it. Costco has great meats, seafood and produce. The best part about Costco is that they stand behind their products! This Costco can get a little crowded in and around the meat and produce section. The staff here has always been very welcoming and helpful. We have never had any issues.
