JD, our cat, was holding up his paw for a few days and we decided to take him to Colony Animal Hospital, our vet provider for many years. Thanks to their early morning drop off (7:30 AM) I was able to bring him in and he would be seen as time permitted. Dr. Riggs was able to see JD early and discovered a burn/cut on his paw. Via phone call she let us know about the injury and her treatment plan and meds we could get when we picked up JD. The care for JD was excellent and the office routines are well established and flow smoothly.
Colony Animal Hospital is a welcoming place. Decorations change with seasons but more importantly everyone is an animal lover. Pets as well as people are acknowledged and respected.
Quality health care is important for pets and Colony Animal Hospital is provides service worth more than 5 Stars.

I had to drop off my dog yesterday for an emergency appointment and Dr. Riggs and the vet tech were wonderful. Dr. Riggs was on the phone with me within 5 minutes of drop off to discuss our options and the vet tech Eva had my girl so happy on the way out she was actually sniffing her and wiggling her but. This is huge because my dog has been reactive at the vet the past couple years. Thank you for caring for Piper!

It’s been a few years since we’ve been to Colony. Now we have new kittens and recently had a visit. I was so pleased to see the positive changes that have been made. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I love the website and appointment system. I don’t feel hesitant at all to call with questions or concerns. I highly recommend Colony Animal Hospital.

Both of my fur babies are cared for by Colony Animal Hospital. Dr. Riggs is professional, thoughtful and thorough. I always leave our visits confident that she has skillfully treated all my doggies needs with expert care.

Terrible communication and service. Assistants dont know how to handle dogs [puppies] at that. Also speak ill of your animals to your face when in fact they know nothing of your animals as they dont read their records you provide or communicate to eachother after services. Dont recommend this vet at all. Years ago they were better but i think they are just letting anyone they can find work there now. Skills not needed.Very dissapointing. One assistant told me the dog i had in my hand who is sibling to the dog she was trying to take back took a chunk of hair out of her back and i was right there. That did not happen and has never happened with my girls. I asked her where and she couldnt say anything but i saw it. Nothing was there.... no hair was gone. They also double dosed my girl and made me pay for it. When had they looked at the records i tried to give them they would have seen that. So concerning.
