“Crosswalk Newport News is a wonderful place to be, whether you are visiting or looking for a church home. I found mine here and am very happy about it. No one here has to do life alone. The members here are a true church family. Sunday Serviice runs from 10AM-12PM. Groups usually meet on Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm between September and December.Sisterhood- 2 groupsMen's groupCouple's groupException: on the first Wednesday of the month, meetings are currently held at Norge (main Williamsburg) location for worship night. “From what I can tell, after listening online and visiting in-person, the preaching at First Church Ministries is Christ-centered. I know –and can worship–Jesus better after the service.It is a VERY casual environment and seems to be a growing church. I also think they did a good job picking songs for the praise and worship time.”
“Everyone was so nice and welcoming and it was so genuine, from the man leaving out the door who held the door and welcomed me while walking out to the woman standing in the foyer welcoming people. She talked to me and gave clear instructions but was very nice while giving them it didn’t seem like I was being bossed around, also letting me know my options. To the Ushers who opened the door after the praise dancers were done. Even the woman and man who I sat in between and the lady who sat in front of me and the two men who were behind me. Even the lady at the end of the pew behind me I mean everyone was so genuinely happy and nice to me throughout the service. The move of God was stupendous and I truly enjoyed myself and each time I visit my grandma I will def make my way to this church. So happy to had been invited by my godfather who plays for them! Thank you all for your hospitality for that alone I’ll be coming back!!”
