They locked the vehicle efore the 1ST PAYMENT WAS DUE WITH LITTLE TO KNOW EXPLANATION. I just purchase the vehicle. I will never work with them again after this worse experience ever. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Ive been paying on a car that isnt safe to drive so it is sitting for over a year. I have to pay and keep insurance and deal with them threatening repossession and 25% garnishment of my paychecks. I would have given the car back a year ago if it wasnt for that. So now Im paying 2 car payments one that is actually a good car from another dealership and then the giant paperweight from casey/auto credit and slowly get work done on it. They dont care that the car doesnt work they just want the money. I also owe more than it is worth. When it was working I could make a payment and the car still wouldnt work because the signal didnt go through. I was stranded at work for hours on more than one occasion. Stay far away from this company and it's used cars.

Absolutely appalling experience with American Credit Of Virginia Inc. After my mother's passing in October, they repeatedly contacted me to pay off the remaining balance, despite having promised to send the title. When I provided the necessary documentation, including an original death certificate with a watermark, they refused to accept it and instead directed me to the DMV. To my surprise, the DMV wouldn't accept their paperwork either due to them still not lifting the lien!
The company's representatives were consistently rude and uncooperative, showing no empathy for my situation. Their incompetence and lack of customer care have caused me unnecessary stress and frustration. I strongly advise others to avoid this company at all costs!

This is the most unprofessional so called finance Co. that ever existed. I say we all get them shut down, theirs power in numbers. There are a alot of (us) saying the same thing so it can't can't be a lie. Something needs to done about this so called company. Once I receive receive the information I need I'll share it .. Let put an end to this!!!

Do not get a loan from this place. If I could give 0 stars that’s what I would give. If you have a pass time device on your car there will be times when you make a payment and their signal will not go through. They will not check to make sure all signals get sent through before they leave for the day. You won’t realize it until it’s the weekend and they are closed and no one is there to resend it. You could literally be anywhere and your car won’t start. It’s inconvenient especially if you’re paying your bill on time.
They give you a hotline to call and a tricky way you can start your car if that happens. You will only have a signal for 24 or 48 hrs then you will still have to contact them. They will not contact you or fix their own mistake. They will blame it on a poor signal that didn’t connect or your car having a low battery. But that’s after you call them and they look in system that will state “signal did not get sent through”.
I paid my car off a month ago and still don’t have the title to my car. They will not give you your title until the pass time device gets taken off your car from the dealership who they make an appointment with 30 days after you pay off your car. That way it is free for you or you can pay an extra $300.00 to not get it removed and they still have to order the title. So you might as well get it removed for free.
The day I overpaid to payoff my car my account manager told me she was ordering my title so it would be here the day my pass time device gets removed. It was a lie. I had to keep calling to speak with someone about my title and another lady I spoke with today told me something different. She said Auto Credit of Virginia will not order the title until the device is taken off.
So even tho my car is paid off, and the device is at the dealership getting taken off, I still won’t have the title today. They literally will not order your title that gets shipped in the mail until the device is taken off. She had so many excuses as to why it was horrible miscommunication. I told her I was going to leave a bad review.
Most of the staff won’t feel for you because they have a high turnover rate. I see new faces every few weeks. Some of them have great customer service but they don’t stay long. Hopefully someone reading this will take my advice and will avoid being frustrated. They barely answer the phone and they hardly call you back when you leave messages. It don’t matter if your in good standings or on top of your payments they will not make you a priority.
I was sold a lemon and paid it off to sell it to the junkyard. Just to make $200 dollars from the car. But being that I had to get it towed to the dealership and now I have to get it towed back to my house makes me mad that I took their word and made plans for the junkyard driver to pick up my car from the dealership just to make a $100 in profit.
But now I’m not making anything from it. I have to get it towed back to my house. Why? No TITLE to sell it and no tags are on my car. It makes me furious knowing I was misled after staying on top of everything. I was one that ignored the bad reviews now I’m another one posting my bad experience.

No solutions. Extremely difficult communication when regarding a solution. I purchased a vehicle with a warranty from the casey Honda dealer(about a year and 8 months ago). Which finance through Auto credit of Virginia. Not even 60,000 miles later the motor blew so I've been paying for lawn art for these past few months. All the maintenance still up to date but no one has a solution for the customer, I .Have paid my car note either early or on time. Never have been late not once, although my credit score won't reflect my much other than when I first made the purchase. These individuals have terrible problem-solving ability dealer & finance group.

If I can give this company no stars I will this is the worst company I ever got trap into smh they don’t try to work with you at all the people there are very rude oh and if you think your payment are being reported to the credit bureau they are not this is the worst company ever DO NOT COME HERE.

This is my second time coming here to make a payment and the cops are here I don’t know what’s going but it very unprofessional and makes the business look very poor than what your rating already are. Just so ghetto it’s like you’re in the hood the police stay at this bank. For what?????
