I had an amazing time here a few weeks ago and only came for a jacket but ended up with 200$ worth of items! Kayla and Laren helped me pick out items, helped me with the different types of leggings, held items for me, put items back for me, and overall just made my time here 100x better.

Some of the workers actually show a little bit of a stuck up attitude. I’ve applied so many times and was told to call when a manager was there or I held hand my info to them… amd of course they didn’t. I knew they lied every time. I feel that only one young girl that was working I felt the most comfortable with and can be real with.

Worst experience ever. AVOID THE USE OF GIFT CARDS! To be clear, the service was excellent and the store was nice. My wife and I were shopping with our baby, and once we went to check out, everything went downhill. I was gifted a gift card with a balance of $50. When I swiped the card, it gave an error, which the cashier tried to resolve in multiple different ways. They ended up saying they could do nothing, so I called the number in the back of the gift card. They told me that a transaction instore processed and had a balance of zero on the card. So then they called the support hotline for their updated systems they installed and informed them that there was no history of the transaction because the computer buffed and no receipt printed out. After over an hour and a half of the sales associates attempting to resolve the issue with customer services as well as their own higher ups, we were told we would have to wait at least another hour to see if the card would get refunded. They told us we can hang around or they can call us and we can come back for the card later. Even though we live 45 minutes away from the mall we decided that we had waited around the store long enough with our baby and decided to head home. We got a call an hour later saying that the card can't be refunded and that they can have us come back for our items and pay the difference of the gift card by them putting it in as a cash transaction/split payment. They added 15% off for our troubles even though originally I used my military discount for 10% off. So in reality I was given 5% on off on top of the 10% I was already getting as a thank you for your time. So we lost 3 hours of our day but saved $3! #webrokeaeroposralwith onegiftcard...seriously what happened? Haven't even been able to look at the clothes without getting upset 2 hours later. Entirely done with aeropostal. And all of this with a baby.

My daughter needed some jeans. We knew ahead of time there was another store in the mall with their dressing room open. But, my daughter was prepared to trying things on without a dressing by wear spanx athletic shorts. When we walked in we saw a male employee and 2 female employees. The male said hi, and that was about it. I did ask about the dressing rooms and they informed me that they were not open. So I asked would it be OK if she just tried on some jeans wearing her athletic shorts. The response was now. So I said we have to buy the jeans go to work car try them on and come back in with the ones that we need to return? The response was yes. This makes absolutely no sense to me. So we walked in and walked back towards any clearance sale racks and at that point I was just irritated being in there because the three employees were still standing up front talking at the door. Not one of them even followed us into the store to see if we needed any sort of help or answer any questions that we may have. I noticed a few stores who have their dressing rooms open have a plan in effect. I sometimes get the excuse on why address dressing room may not be open is because they don't have the manpower to clean them. But if your manpower is just sitting up front chitchatting away and not dealing with any customers clearly they have enough time to wipe one down for us to utilize. And they have time to do what they need to do to sanitize the clothing after we try it on. We just felt completely ignored and I'm not sure will ever return to an Aeropostale due to bad customer service. Aeropostale has good prices when you can catch them.
