Unfortunately my Father's shop, M&M closed in the spring of 2019. We are unable to shut down the Google page but they are permanently closed. I have opened my own shop located in the basement of Jacksons Corner Cafe just up the street. Please visit Valley Pike Music for a lot of the stuff you saw at M&M. Thanks and hope to see you!

I drove a long way to find out they have different hours and didn't update online. They just wrote a note and put it on the door... I really wanted to see their acoustic guitars...

When my wife dropped the barrel of her clarinet recently we knew we had a problem. Some of the keys were bent and her instrument was unplayable. Thankfully we took her damaged instrument to M and M music. They examined the instrument, promptly gave us an estimate for the cost of the repair and an estimate of when that repair would be complete. Both their estimates were right on the mark. When we got the clarinet back it was not only repaired, but also thoroughly cleaned and some of the corks had been replaced. It actually plays slightly better than before she dropped it! We're very happy with M&M music and plan to continue to use them for our instrument repair and maintenance work. They also have an ever changing stock of (sometimes unusual) used musical instruments, which makes browsing fun whenever we're near their shop.

Cool store, lots of guitars for sale and other instruments. Nice guys work there! Nice lady gives music lessons - I love to stop by and take a listen. The guys are always fixing all types of instruments that have been abused or just out of tune, but they will take time for you.

Stopped into their shop during one of the New Market downtown festivals. Super friendly people running the shop, and great musicians. They were playing Bluegrass Folk music inside the store while the festival was running outside. A lot of fun. Looks like they are also the experts on repairing string and wind instruments, appeared to be the best for repairs in all of Northern Virginia. Will definitely stop in again to see the instruments they have for sale.
