The stay was amazing! The location was a perfect getaway and brought the southern charm you don’t find in city areas. Perfectly 20-30 minutes from numerous fun tourist attractions. Our host was absolutely amazing and made us feel at home. Catered to every need and every breakfast was unique, delicious, and fresh! A+++ will be back soon!

Grace was a great host and very attentive to all our needs.
She had god recommendations for all we wanted to do.

Historical manse sufficiently distant to avoid the hustle and bustle, but incredibly close enough to enjoy all the popular tourist locales on the eastern shore of Virginia. Chincoteague Island is a very convenient 10 miles distant. Wallops Island launch site is closer still. The Inn itself is surrounded by gardens and there is the pool for summer dips. It is very quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The hostess, Grace, is very accommodating, and an excellent conversationalist. She’s also a great cook, making delicious breakfasts to start your day. Visit and stay a while. We did and left feeling relaxed and refreshed. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you, Grace!

We have visited the area including Chincoteague Island many times over the years. Our stay at the Garden and Sea Inn and Bed and Breakfast was the best. Our experience far exceeded any past hotel stay. We were also delighted that we could bring our dog along. The grounds are beautiful with five acres of gardens, woods, and green areas that provided ample space to walk are dog. Our room was very comfortable and privide all the amenities we needed. Our hostess Grace is very friendly, hospitable and accommodating, She offered many suggestions that helped us plan our day including dog friendly beaches and restaurants. We liked being off the island in a quiet and peaceful place while being minutes away from it. The breakfasts were excellent. My wife Joanne and I highly recommend staying here and plan yo do it again next time.
Rooms: Very nice with plenty of space. Stay also included a common area with a pool table, stereo system, books, etc
Nearby activities: Assoteague National Seashore, Chincoteague Island and Nature Preserve, numerous outdoor activities/sports, beautiful eastern shore towns like Berlin, MD.
Food & drinks: Breakfast is excellent served in a lively dining area.

We stayed at the Garden & Sea Inn for one overnight on our way to Florida. The owner greeted us at the door to welcome us. It's a wonderful Inn- our room was very comfortable & provided everything we needed. She recommended a wonderful restaurant close by for dinner & made our breakfast in the morning- it was delicious! We chatted through breakfast. We felt at home here & would definitely stay again!

My husband and I just got back from an absolutely wonderful time on the Eastern shoreThe Garden and Sea Inn is located just a few miles from Chincoteague and Wallops Island where we both enjoyed great food, nice shopping and a very educational adventure to the NASA welcome center. What we found to be our favorite thing was the beautiful room and a wonderful breakfast every morning. The innkeepers were so efficient and always there if you needed anything, their kindness was 5 star. We plan to return very soonI personally highly recommend them to my friends. Oh and the pets welcome is fantastic. Lisa

It’s a great location!Food & drinks: Grace made great recommendations to Bordeleau Vineyard, Don’s Restaurant, and Maurice’s. Everything was on point, especially her breakfast!Noteworthy details: Grace also makes her own soap and bath bombs with a wide variety of scents! You know we had to get some of those ?

This B&B was AWESOME! Our host, Grace, was so friendly and generous; she made our trip fun and we loved our conversations! We stayed in the main house, in the Chardonnay room. The bed was more comfortable than our own at home!! The bathroom was HUGE with a beautiful jetted tub! Even though the room was on the first floor, at the front of the house, it was peaceful and I didn’t hear any road noise. Breakfast was amazing!! Always with fruit, a sweet, some juice, a main course and your choice of beverage (mine was coffee). Grace always had snacks, coffee and water available 24/7. There’s lots of cool antique shopping nearby and the beach at Ocean City, MD is a quick drive too! The grounds are beautiful with lots of seating inside and out. If you are on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, you NEED to include this in your stop!Highly recommended!!
