They have 3 buildings. The best one in my opinion is the building all the way to the far right and you do have to climb what they call the summit, But it is worth it. It's open seating. You walk up to the bar to the left and place all you orders. Drinks you wait and they pour them right there. Food they give you a buzzer and when your order is ready you go up to the window and pick up your food. There is seating everywhere. Staff super friendly and everything is fast. This place is dog friendly areas and games outside. Parking lot is so packed but there is plenty of parking and fields of seating outside We had a blast. It's beautiful inside and outside are fire pits and there is just a great vibe. The distillery is nice. They make you mixed drinks but you have to drink them there in that particular building

Great environment for friends, family, kids, and even dogs! The cider's were even better on tap. Pomegranate cider was great, and they even have a liquor menu specialty drinks at the distillery. Garrett's recommendations were great.

Love coming here for the vibes and view. The food is always top notch and I love how they’ve expanded the drinks beyond cider only over the years. Oh and the Tennessee burger is amazing too!

The cider is good. The views are great. I love Bold Rock. But this grilled cheese (see pic) was just sad. I feel like a child or drunk college student could easily make a better grilled cheese. It was billed as an apple grilled cheese on sourdough and instead it was kraft/American cheese with a tiny bit of apple on super burnt toast. And it was still cold despite being burnt. Others were also disappointed with their food. Though a friend said the pretzels were good. I would return for cider but never for food. Food: 1/5Drinks: 4/5Vibes: 5/5

We went there last summer when visiting the area and loved it. Very friendly staff. We LOVE the Cinnamon Apple whiskey. We were on our way home today from a trip and specifically went out of our way to go there. Unfortunately they were sold out of the Cinnamon Apple. There were some bottles behind the bar, but they said they needed those for drinks. I explained we live 3 hours from here, but no go. They also couldn't do flight tastings because they were out of cups. They had a new item, Iced Tea vodka, but we couldn't try it due to no tasting cups. So, we left empty handed. Maybe next year on our way through we'll try again.

The views here are stunning. I love how you can get flavors that are difficult to find in stores. Plus, you can try their liquor which not many folks are aware they even make. Be sure to check out the museum upstairs.

I recently moved to Virginia for an internship, and my roommates told me I needed to check out the Bold Rock Cidery. I am usually more of a microbrewery gal, but I had a phenomenal time at Bold Rock's Taproom. I liked that the food/drinks were done inside at the bar, and you picked up your own food because it added to the laid back atmosphere of the patio. It's a great place to bring the family, friends, partners, and most importantly, the dogs! I got the fruity cider flight, which consisted of the Apple, Draft, Blackberry, and Berry Peach ciders. I loved them all, but beverages are a personal preference so come and check them out!! When my gluten free brother comes to visit, I will be sure to take him here, and maybe bring a football or a frisbee to throw around!! I also loved that there are events that are LGBTQ+ friendly and very inclusive to everyone. Food is as good as you can hope for, my recommendation would be to get the fries for sure!! If you're ever in the Shenandoah Valley area, Bold Rock lives up to the hype!
