There are a lot of caverns dotted throughout the Virginia landscape we happened to stop by this one on our travels it was a nice little detour to come and see the caverns lots of nice formations and a small little underground water pond be sure to use the handrails there are a lot of slippery spots in this cave but that's to be expected definitely wasn't too cold the tour guide was well knowledgeable provided answers to the questions that were presented if you're in the area that's a nice little place to stop by

my family and i wanted to take a trip to the caverns since we are camping down the road. when we got to the caverns the front desk lady was very unwelcoming. Our 8 month old son needed a simple fold out stroller and we were told no, which we were understanding for the circumstances. unfortunately, we saw many family’s coming in with strollers, a wagon, and other items that did not get prohibited. our tour guide was very unprofessional and just did not give the experience that was required. it’s very upsetting that i had to turn around half way because we couldn’t enjoy the caverns .

Really cool experience! Brandy was our tour guide and was great! Some stairs/slick spaces involved, but my five year old was able to complete it all. We really enjoyed the caverns and all of the formations.

This was a pretty good cave. Tours leave every hour on the hour. They have a decent rock shop as well. The tour guide was great- she used to be a university professor but switched to being a cave guide because it was more fun. Very knowledgeable about geology.
It's not as big as Luray, and doesn't have as many formations, but it's also less expensive. Definitely worth it if you're already visiting the Natural Bridge.
The price we paid was also $10 less than what it Said on the website. The website definitely needs updating. We almost didn't come because the website had so little information, but I'm glad we did.
There are a lot of stairs and some slippery spots, so make sure you're steady on your feet. The guide was good about warning ahead anywhere it got tricky.

Such a cool experience. Do the cave tour. We had a great guy who inserted a lot of humor. The only thing I didn’t like was when they made it totally dark when we were deep in there. They always do that and it makes my anxiety go off the chart. Still giving it 5 stars. It’s only like 2 minutes of darkness and the formations are so cool and even wilder is the story behind how they were discovered.

Unfortunately we forgot the tour guides name but she was great! She did say she was a professor! She has an overwhelming amount of interesting facts and delivered them great for the kids to understanding. Everyone came out with a lot of fun facts they retained. The absolute darkness bei g their favorite. It is cold! Bring a light coat or hoodie! If you have a pet, they have to be carried for the 45-minute tour. They can not walk in the cavern.

Hour cave tour. Our tour guy was interesting and informative. We reserved a 4 pm tour but got there early. They easily accommodated us for the 3 pm tour. Wish we had time to do the two mile loop hike.

Really cool caverns, the tour guide was super nice and helpful at answering questions. Got to see hibernating bats and there were pools of water in places which was fun to see. Would highly recommend if in the area.

Exploring the caves at Natural Bridge was worth-every-penny adventure! The intricate formations and hidden chambers within the caves were absolutely awesome. My guide made the experience both educational and thrilling. I highly recommend this place, especially for beginners.

Very nice woman who did the tour. Explained everything really well. Exciting when she turned off the light.
Very interesting cave complex.
