Excellent place for those who want to give their life to Christ and discover their purpose. House is clean. Leaders have compassion. Rules are necessary. High graduation success rate. But like every other program… you will only get out of it what you put into it.

I had a good leaders, great memories , and most of all started a relationship with jesus @ SVTC! I was taught life lessons , what leadership looks like, how to be a good steward! So many tears of healing were shed! Friendships that were made are still there. So grateful to have spent my time in such a loving environment that allowed me to feel safe and gave me tools that i use EVERYDAY! ❤️

My life was transformed by the mighty power of God as soon as I walked into SVTC. To God be the glory for who I am because of the tool in SVTC that God used to renew my mind and set my sights on Him, His Kingdom, and His promises!

I showed up at SVTC 12 years ago with a 17 year crack addiction. SVTC gave me the time during that year to point me back to my relationship with Christ. I have been clean since then.

Would give less than 1 star if possible. Unsure how this place is even affiliated with Teen Challenge. The living quarters is unsanitary with overcrowded housing. There are no certified, trained professionals for therapy. The family run facility is a scam to make money off of those who are sick and work the system for Government Food Stamp assistance. Residents were required to work halfway through the program and half of the money earned had to be given to the "facility". No clean water was offered (it smelled like rotten eggs) and when it was, the caretakers complained that the water was consumed too quickly (2 cases of water for 6 people). Kitchen was locked up and meals were required to be uniform, so no consideration for food allergy or diet preferences. Food delivered as "donation" was expired and fresh food was rotten and old. The family home is on the premise so no one is allowed to go over, even for emergencies unless the resident is the person who has been here the longest. I would never trust this place with myself or loved one. Highly recommend researching more qualified facilities, my relative lasted 18 days before being "kicked out" because she was questioning how they were operating.

LESS than one star if I could. They are the worst. False advertising website shows nice place but actually a gross tiny overcrowded house, stayed 1 month and they refused to give back ANY of my $1500. No supervision, all they cared about is how we could go earn them $. AND they had bedbugs, so all of our things had to be bagged. Bathrooms broke down for a week. NO joke, no lie.

Perhaps a good place for some. However, once a person decides to leave they abandon you. A failure to show Christian Love. Not a place for dual diagnosises person. Food Stamp program needs oversight. They ignore your concerns or safety issues. Chose to leave and now in a more therapeutic environment and doing well. Again, this place may work for some. Not all.
