Don’t ignore bad reviews like I did.After a month of storage used, the owner called me and said you should let me know 30 days in advance when you want to end the storage lease, I thought for a min and told her I will not be needing the storage anymore so let this be our last month we will get our stuff out before the end of this month, and she agreed. So we were out by the end of the month. Then in couple of days I see a new charge on my bank statement. I called her and she told me you never sent me a written lease termination note, something I had no idea about this written lease termination form I don’t remember being informed about it, thinking phone was enough, I told her I thought we agreed last month that this was our last month by phone the lease should be terminated she told me it was never in the written form. So in the end I got charged for an extra month of storage and her answer was it’s business.

Copied and pasted from my review on Facebook"Candice promised me a puppy from her litter of puppies due July 3rd of 2021. I kept asking for updates prior, which she ignored. Apparently, she was having problems with confirming the pregnancy which I understand happens, but didn't not tell me about the issues until AFTER the due date and AFTER I asked her how the puppies were. I had all of the supplies, puppy training classes, puppy sitter arranged and took off of work for 2 weeks only for this to happen. I was completely inconvenienced and absolutely heart broken. I cried for weeks for the loss of a puppy that didn't exist. Later, I found online that she uses her storage facility "Mt Crawford Storage" in Rockingham County, VA as a PUPPY MILL. Please look at the reviews and they share the horror stories of people that have dealt with her. I was deaking with her was damaging my mentally health and I asked for my deposit back,, which she REFUSED to give back in it's entirety and then BLOCKS me. She deletes any posts from her Facebook group that might even hint at putting her puppy mill in a bad light. She's deleted and remade Facebook group and pages numerous times because of this. People are able to still get puppies from her but not the ones you want. "

The Owner of this mini storage, Candice Murphy, also uses the site as a puppy mill. We had an agreement with her to purchase a cavalier puppy, with a pickup date of 5/13/20 when the puppy would be 8 weeks old. On 5/9 we were texting to coordinate final pickup details. We were going to be in Harrisonburg 5/12-5/14. Candice indicated the rest of the litter would be gone by 5/11. We only live 90 min away so any day would have worked. In the middle of the text conversation Candice abruptly breaks off the agreement with no explanation, and shuts down all communication. No response to many texts and phone calls asking what the issue was and stating that we could be there 5/10 (very next day) if desired. VERY BIZARRE (ever hear of Joe Exotic/ Tiger King? That is how bizarre this was). We surmise that she got an offer for a higher price or was just really impatient (puppy wasn't even 8 weeks old yet?? Many breeders wait 10 weeks!). She sold to someone else the next day. Long story short: Candice Murphy is not a trustworthy counterparty to an agreement. The manner in which she shut down all communication was cowardly at best, and mean-spirited and downright un-Christian at worst. If she treats her customers like this with her puppies, how will she treat her customers when they have valuable belongings in her storage warehouse? Be aware who you are dealing with!!

Completely mouse infested. The mice chewed 90% of the stuff that my wife and I stored while waiting on our home to be finished. Asked the owner about the issues and she said that they only take care of mice outside...? Wouldn’t offer a discount or reimbursement

If it was possible I wouldn't of gave it a star she uses and abuses people I know someone who is getting ridiculous messages from this so called business woman and they are supposed to be friends and she is blaming nonpayment and this person not coming around on me when I am not with said person anymore so for further information the said person was working for this so called business woman sometimes 6 to 12 hours a day and only getting ten to twenty dollars a day and now she has locked the unit and wants to threaten to get trespassing charges if said people are on the property but claims to want said people's stuff out and want the rent for the unit and this is all because the said person won't kiss this said business woman's a**
