My first visit to Bargain Barn was spectacular. I mean that in the most sincere way. The two most gracious women there made my experience so much FUN. It is a place you can get lost in and the ideas you can conjure up are infinite. I am looking forward to my crazy quilt class. This has been on my bucket list for years. Well quilting in particular BUT when I was shown a crazy quilt handmade I knew that is exactly what I wanted to learn. So happy to be able to fulfill this with such an interesting and talented woman. Her daughter is amazing in her own right too, they make a great pair for this amazing store. You should visit.

People there were very helpful. A little chilly inside, but plenty of fabric and styles to choose from.One of few places near us to buy quality upholstery and tapestry fabric at reasonable prices.

They have everything that a creator needs, well-stocked, owner (a talented seamstress) displays beautiful ???? gowns that she created, she and daughter very friendly, country, people; impressive kids blanket fabric collection, great team! I returned before & will continue! Conveniently located on Highway 460 East, between Lynchburg & Roanoke, VA.

Such a selection! From homespun to upholstery fabrics. Lots of quilting and sundress cottons too.I got orange gimp, and that’s pretty uncommon.

Absolutely quality work on the first and second order A bit pricey but you get what you pay for most of the time. Don't get in a big rush, they are VERY busy, but take the time to advise and make sure they know what you want.UPDATE: My third order did not go quite so well, First trip - cornice fabric not centered, second trip - drapes not wide enough & had to go buy more fabric, Third trip - drapes made with pattern upside down, Fourth trip - all finished. Almost a year from fabric initial delivery. In their defense, someone else did the drapes until the last trip. COVID-19 played a roll in time frame, too. It could have gotten ugly, but eventually they made it right without argument.
