As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Highland Medical Center provides comprehensive primary care and preventive care including medical, dental, behavioral health, physical therapy, wellness and pharmacy service to persons of all ages regardless of their ability to pay or health insurance status. The Medical Center opened in 1996 to provide healthcare to people living in Highland County, a medically underserved region. It now serves residents from Bath and Augusta Counties in Virginia and Pocahontas and Pendleton Counties in West Virginia.
