Brought in a print for framing as (I thought) I'd gotten a really good deal with the store's Groupon. The associate was polite when going over framing options, but things got weird when it came to a quote. I was surprised by the initial price (~$350), but he offered me a military discount which made it slightly more affordable. When I mentioned that I had a Groupon, he told me I couldn't have the discount (that he offered me!) since I was using the voucher. He claimed he "couldn't do two good things for me." The new quote was over $500! Um, ok? A voucher isn't a coupon/discount and there was nothing in the fine print saying that you couldn't use the Groupon and a discount. He then told me that the Groupon was usually used for smaller jobs. Again, nothing to that effect in the Groupon language. The whole interaction was polite but strange- It's like they didn't want my business or to honor the voucher. If you don't want to take Groupons, don't offer them? Went to Hobby Lobby instead and paid $130 for the exact same frame and glass options.

In simple terms Framing Outlet continuously exceeds my expectations with quality, timeliness, and price! I have had them do everything from re-framing 30-40-year-old prints to creating shadow boxes with unusual size items in them. The ownership is engaging and friendly while being efficient in their execution of my orders.I find myself there every few months with the next project I am working on.

I came to the Framing Outlet to order two frames with engravings to give as gifts. Ozzie was extremely helpful and gave good suggestions to the colors of the frame and the mat that would go around the image. He was also responsive whenever I emailed him. The turnaround time for my project was about a week and I was very happy with the product. Framing is always pretty expensive, but I thought Ozzie's prices were reasonable and I'd ask to see if he has any promotions going on. TLDR: Ozzie has great customer service!

Superior customer service. I brought an oil on canvas to be stretched as their was a crease on the canvas. The owner of the store personally worked on my item and the results were fantastic. I gave four more oil portraits that I will be bringing in for re- framing. Totally pleased with all aspects of the service.DianaMontclair Resident

Exceptional expertise and customer careI I highly recommend Ozzie and the Framing Outlet in Montclair!I’m two years overdue in writing the review but it never left my mind. We had a framed print purchased years ago to remember my wife’s beloved grandmother. It was broken in a move and glass severely damaged the print. Ozzie found out that it was out of print and helped us find another on the secondary market. He restored the framing and matting perfectly…just like it had been.My wife was extremely pleased and grateful. So was I. In fact, we still are, which motivated this review.Ozzie and his team earned out trust with not only excellent craftsmanship, but with genuine care for the intrinsic value to our family.
