Completely satisfied!!!! I couldn't move in until late in the evenin
g I think around 9pm maybe a little later and it was then that I realized I had rented the wrong size unit and needed a larger one. So I took a chance and called and to my surprise in just a few minutes I received a call from Andrea who changed things around and hooked me up with ease. So far I couldn't be happier with the service. Thanks again for making my mistake no problem.

So fast and convenient. I was storing items only a few hours after first contact. The lease process is all online and easy to follow. They provide good communication through text and email and they follow up to make sure everything went well. The storage unit was very clean and a brand new lock was waiting for me when I got there. Highly recommend Bolt Storage.

Booked a storage unit, and went up to lock it 30 minutes later. Unit was already occupied. Called customer support, took 25 minutes, they tried to put me in another unit that was occupied so I requested a refund. Of course it will take 7-10 business days, although they took my money in 20 sec.
It seems to me that if you run a storage business, you should probably know the status of your units.
Would not recommend!

I’ve never had an easier customer experience when utilizing a rentable storage unit. Bolt made the process of selecting and renting a truly streamlined process. It was incredibly simplified and easy as going to a website. I remember when this unit (business) used to have an attendant and renting was a tedious process. That has been removed and I’m a happy camper today.

We have had an outside storage space for our boat & trailer in Moneta, Va. We live, property is licensed & taxes paid on it in WV.
We began with this location under previous ownership. The site was well maintained, office leased UHauls and mgmt. was usually onsite, or, if problems, was 'just down the road' & would show up quickly. Property/business was sold without any customer notification. Rate increased ("insurance fees"). I complained (most probably didn't even recognize, automatic pmt.)-said "insurance" on boat was paid each summer to cover usage...reason to Pay them $ was that they, as business 'providing security', & having locked gates, had 'promised' that protection. Extra charge was removed.
There is no one on site. Questions or issues, while # given is US. area code, are directed to 'call center' in the Philippines, where questions/responses may be difficult to understand-no frame of reference with US, local laws, sites, etc. This has become a real issue when i got a Personal Property tax assessment of $658+ for 'our boat & trailer' in Franklin Co. Va.
The boat & trailer (duh?! How'd'ya think it got there & Neither are there now?) were "reported by Bolt" as "having been on site" Jan. 2023. Not! Boat is there June-Oct (trailer too!). It is stored other months in our barn, on farm in Monroe Co., WV. (Have offered to send pictures!)
I have been struggling with Franklin Co. Assessor's ofc. Been directed, redirected among numerous agencies (Dept. Wildlife Resources..?!), written letters, called numerous times, emailed
('domain not recognized)...&, finally, today, asked to produce my ownership titles!
In the end, called Bolt. Have explained to Assessor's Ofc. that Bolt in 'reporting our properties were on their lot as of Jan. 2023, was Nothing other than laziness & lack of any oversight. They obviously forwarded list, based on Owners who pay for full year rental, Even if not there (only way to reserve spot)! Went through this Again in conversation with call center this am (obviously not cognizant of concept of county property taxes). Told the woman boat had been brought home in October, was cancelling any further business (have never signed 'contract', had been allowing monthly deduction of $45 to retain rights) & Need Call Back from Supervisor, Mgmt. (we'll see if That ever happens!) She told me she was sending me instructions on 'how to vacate property'...Does Anybody Listen? Boat is 'bedded down', under cover in old, long back barn-Has Been There since Oct! 'Would need to sign ending contract-no more $'...No Contract ever Signed, changed card info & access for Any further pmts. ending!
Really need a 0 for ratings! Would give that! Stay away from this bunch! (Called mid-summer to tell us 'our sailboat' was in wrong spot! Ours is a 15 y.o. Yamaha jet boat..& trailer!) Idiots! A racket!

I was very pleased to find a safe place to leave my boat on SML.Very reasonable rent for a nice size parking space.This is a secure fenced in storage facility near the lake.
