Well... They advertise Chicken (Fried Chicken)... I'd purchased chicken HERE before... REALLY good experience...this last 24 piece purchase was awful!!! 7 breasts REALLY. OVER cooked... JUST A TIP...stop at Food Dog and get your chicken before heading home.JUST a tip not a sermon.

I love this little local convenient store/gas station. I often stop by to grab snacks before getting on the road. They always have fresh Krispy Krunchy Chicken ready. They also have other hot sandwiches and foods throughout the day. They even gave me a free meal one day right before closing time. The people are always friendly and welcoming.

I am 75 yrs old and stopped by to purchase gas, unfortunately the pump couldn’t read my card and I was instructed to go inside. My car was parked at the furtherest pump from the store. I has osteoarthritis in both knees and have difficulty walking. I didn’t want to leave my tiny puppy in the very hot car, so I carried him with me. I opened the door and the women behind the counter said I couldn’t bring my dog in the store. I explained that I just needed to have her run my card so I could get gas and wouldn’t step further into the store. I slid my card towards her to bypass the glass shield so I wouldn’t step further into the store. She raised her voice and told me not to throw my card at her. I told her it was not my intention and apologized. Both clerks were extremely rude! They were making remarks to the other customers in the store and totally disrespected me. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. I felt they discriminated against me because I am an elderly white women with a disability. One of the customers standing in line ran my card for me, so I could get my gas, I thanked him for his kindness. I feel very hurt because I pride myself in helping anyone in need and didn’t feel I deserved the treatment I was given.

This place has some REALLY GOOD CHICKEN!!! I know it's a gas station but really...I'M NOT KIDDING!! I've had chicken from here 3 times and every time, I've forgotten to take pictures for my review!! First time because I was driving and really hungry, so I dug right in...what a pleasant surprise!!! Nice and juicy!!! 2nd and 3rd time, I was just so anxious to eat the chicken that I simply forgot!! But before I went into the store on my 3rd visit, I did take a picture of the outside. Also, they cut their own potatoes each day to freshly make the potato wedges and they are also deee-licious!!!!

I've tried to get a sandwich made on several occasions and I'm always told the grill is off or I don't know where the person is who does that. If they are going to have a grill, what good is it if they don't use it? I'll try one more time today and if they can't fix a sandwich I'll just give up on them.

I've tried to get a sandwich made on several occasions and I'm always told the grill is off or I don't know where the person is who does that. If they are going to have a grill, what good is it if they don't use it? I'll try one more time today and if they can't fix a sandwich I'll just give up on them.

Go pass Dickerson store and go here. Chicken is amazing,taters are delicious even cold. Prices are a little better.

Typical country convenience store. Fresh cooked food available daily. Cold beer and ice. Conveniently located near Lake Anna. Easy to access gas pumps and to turn around in the parking pulling a boat or any trailer.

The owner is great but his staff is horrible. They are rude and clearly under the influence. Alot of out of date products in the store and it's not very clean.
