Nice and close to the campground. Typical dollar store has kinda what you need if you can move the boxes stacked in front of it. ?

generally has good stock on most products and half the staff is phenomenal but the older lady that continuously lies to customers about Services they offer and gives horrible excuses and is constantly on smoke breaks makes me not want to visit the store on most occasions.... she has straight up lied to me about services and I've drove 2 miles down the road and got them taken care of and lies about reasons why products are substantially more at that store also lied to my mother about stuff in the past.... she's killing that store for locals. I guess the locality to the lake is what that have going as long as she's there.

This Dollar General is one of the worst ones in Virginia. I went in today and outside there are totes of marked down blankets, clothes, pillows, shoes etc. It rained yesterday evening in our area, not today but these items were all soaked and the water was visible in the totes!! I cant believe they would give these away let alone sell them!? I went in to look for a few items and I was going to mention the totes to them just in case they somehow overlooked it when putting them out there this morning. After being in the store for about 5 minutes and not seeing a single employee, I decided to buy my soda and just mention it to the cashier. When I reached the cash register there was actually a cashier there ringing up a young girl. She wasnt friendly, not even cordial in my opinion. When it was my turn she didnt say a word to me until I asked for ciggaretts and she asked for an ID. I got it out and tried to hand it to her but she wasnt even looking at me, when she did look at me she asked what kind (again) and asked for an ID that I already had out. When I handed her the money she gave me my change, still not speaking to me or giving me a receipt. I asked for my receipt after she gave me a look like I was bothering her and she took the register tape and tore off the other receipts and my survey paper and my $5 coupon and still didnt say anything. This is a very messy store, selling waterlogged blankets and treating customers like we are a burden to them. What a great place to start a store!!! I will NEVER shop here again!

Went around 11am. Store was so "ransacked". Could not walk around the isles due to carts with shipment they were going to put out. I completely understand having the cart out so you do not have to lug boxes. But 4, 5, or 6 carts full? Poor selection as well.

One of the nicer DG stores in the area. Much cleaner than most I have been to. Everything is easy to find & the shelves are well stocked. The staff members are always very nice & helpful.
