Fantastic golf course! Playing in late October 2023 the couse conditions were superb! Great layout with a few wonky greens meaning the design. Again, course condition was outstanding. Great service and hospitality! And excellent practice facility on site.

Things are shaping up. The course is great, greens are challenging and the rough is though.

What a great golf course! From tee to green, each fairway is different and challenging. Once on the greens you need to focus on the terrain or your ball will roll off, so get creative and think outside the box. In the spring and early summer, these greens are US Open like!

The layout itself is so unique i could play it daily and never be bored. I hope they leave this course semi-private during tourism season. It’s tough to only be 20 minutes from the course but not have 50k to join ????. Greens are insanely quick and will make you look absolutely silly if you don’t pay attention. Bunkering is well thought out. Bring plenty of golf balls, at least 4-5 blind tee shots loom large.

Brady at this course did a fantastic job setting up a tournament for a group of friends. Challenging course with the special 5 star treatment from staff in the parking lot to the end of the day. Jack and Anderson completed the setup that Brady managed to have for the group from out of town was seamless. From putting your bags into the cart, to the perfectly managed course each small detail was buffed out to perfection. I got multiple complements from each individual in my group(even the people that didn't play well) about how much they enjoyed the course.I had a group of close to 24 guys looking for a lake house with a nice golf course nearby. Lake Anna is the lake we chose and it was mentioned there is new lakefront properties being built with the golf course and I am sure they will be just as nice or better than the course! Ask for Brady and mention their stay to play pass, you won't be disappointed!Thank you Brady for making a spontaneous trip into something unforgettable, and something I have now been asked to plan annually!

Let me tell you, folks, if you're looking for a golf course that's not only got some of the best greens in Virginia but also has access to a freakin' warm lake for boating, then Cutalong is the place for you!First of all, let's talk about the golf. The fairways are smoother than a baby's bottom and the rough is rougher than a hangover after a night of partying with Charlie Sheen. But don't worry, the course is forgiving enough for even the most beginner of golfers. And if you happen to slice your ball into the woods (which, let's face it, is bound to happen), just remember that you can always take a break from golf and go boating in the warm lake!Speaking of the lake, let me tell you, it's like jumping into a bathtub filled with hot cocoa. Okay, maybe not that warm, but you get the idea. And the boating! You can take out a boat and feel like a real captain of your own ship (or should I say, pontoon). I mean, who needs a boring old golf cart when you can cruise around in a boat? But wait, there's more! The staff at Cutalong is so friendly, they'll make you feel like a VIP. I'm not kidding, I would go back just for the staff alone. So, if you want to golf like a pro and boat like a boss, Cutalong is the place to be. Just be warned, you might never want to leave!

This is a special course and experience. We came from out of town and it is worth the trip. The course was in good shape and had multiple signature holes that could be played different ways. There are risk / reward decisions, shots moving both directions and fair challenging greens. It’s also a beautiful settings in the trees around Lake Anna. I also met a few members and they were wonderful, they took pride in their club, welcomed us, and shared course knowledge. I will be going back.

Cutalong is a beautiful golf course run by amazing people. Golf Digest recently rated the course as one of the top five new courses in United States. And they are right! The course is challenging but fun. The Golf Pro, Director of Golf and all of the golf staff are committed to making the course a second home for members. The tournaments and social activities are the icing on the cake. My wife and I love Cutalong!

Cutalong at Lake Anna is an exceptional private golf course that promises an even brighter future ahead. With its impressive design, every hole on this course offers an enjoyable golfing experience. The greens present a delightful challenge, making it a true test of skill, particularly on the second shots. One cannot overlook the incredible staff, whose dedication and friendly demeanor consistently enhance the overall round. Should the chance to play Cutalong arise, seize it without hesitation – it's an opportunity you won't want to pass up!

Cutalong is one of my favorite golf courses. The expansive views combined with the relaxing atmosphere make it a very unique golf experience. The golf course is challenging but very playable and fun. It’s a perfect golf course for matches with your friends. I can tell as the vision comes together and is paired with the wonderful Lake Anna area, it has a chance to be one of the best golf destinations in America.

I went out last September and absolutely loved it. This course offered it all! It was challenging but there were also opportunities to score well if you took the risk. One of the distinguishing features of the course are the greens. They were in terrific shape, but if you missed your spot you brought a 3 putt (or more) into play. I can't wait to get back and play it again!!
