Some good docs, but ultimately a cash grab. Need to protect yourself against extraneous tests/charges. Easy to walk in for a check up and inadvertently walk out with $300 in random tests or treatments. Corporate vet care at its finest.

Not sure how I haven't left a review before!! I LOVE Woodlake Animal Hospital. We have been going here for a couple of years and all the doctors, vet techs and vet assistants have been wonderful. They love animals and really care about my dogs. I appreciate the fact that they practice western and eastern medicine. Acupuncture and herbs have been so helpful in managing my senior dog's mental issues and physical ailments. They are always willing to listen, get us in for emergent needs and do not look for us to do anything that is not needed for our dog's health. They know me when I call and remember my babies. I will keep coming here as long as Dr. Jones runs the practice and keeps the caring nature and wonderful people!

Amazing. I have a reactive dog and the vet, Dr. Lobb, was able to come outside to meet him, instruct us how to swab his ear so he could get his ear medicine, and prescribed him medication to help with his anxiety ❤️ Hoping my dog will start to not be so scared at the vet and the biggest part is the doctors patience and compassion! :) (She allowed all of this to take place outside so Mando was on a more neutral territory and it made it the best bet visit he’s been to cannot say thank you enough!!!)

Great location, good vets, kinda pricy. Dental work on dogs is very expensive.

Your team is the best! I was at PetSmart to get our new food prescription and the animal hospital was closed. You were responsive and quickly able to get the information the store needed to allow us to purchase the food.

I simply cannot say enough great things about this vet team! We have 4 dogs and they all see either Dr. Lobb or Dr Jones whose knowledge and compassion for animals is so apparent in everything they do. We recently lost our 14/15 year old beagle to a large mass on her lung and were graciously given the option for home euthanasia which made a huge difference in her passing. Our sweet girl was able to pass comfortably surrounded by her comfortable smells, in her favorite bed, with her dog siblings and humans surrounded by love.
We also have a dog who slipped a disc in her back and with Dr Jones and Dr Lobb teaming up to determine a treatment plan (medication and acupuncture) were able to get her back to running around on the farm again without surgery. If you are looking for a new vet, look no further!

First time visit today, after an emergency vet visit..
Excellent care, doctor, assistant and staff. Dr Berger ( sp) and Claire went above and beyond to help with our very sick cat. Excellent interaction and communication with us on the situation. We have Mupp home with us this evening which was tenuous earlier today..

Very nice vet and nice technicians, but I wish I would have known how EXPENSIVE and over priced this place is before I chose to bring my dog here. My mistake for not reading reviews or asking for prices beforehand, but I didn’t think I would be robbed out of hundreds of dollars.
My dog needed the canine influenza vaccine, which is a two shot set. EACH shot here cost $90, so $180 total. They then charged me a $45 technician exam fee when I brought my dog back for the booster. This was never explained to me beforehand, so I was shocked when I got the bill. The worker said it’s policy, but that was never relayed to me.Why does my dog need an “exam” ( that took two minutes) when he just had one two weeks ago?
I called Brandermill Vet to compare prices to make sure I wasn’t being dramatic - they charge $54 for the canine influenza vaccine, so woodlake is charging almost DOUBLE. They also informed me they don’t charge for an examination on a booster visit, so there’s another $45 I could have saved if I went to Brandermill instead.
Keep this in mind when you’re doing research on vets in the area- Woodlake does charge double and charges fees other vets in the area don’t. This is literally devastating to families like my own who don’t have $500+ dollars to spend on vet visits.

We have brought all of our animals here for the past 8 years or more. The staff is kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Jones is a wonderful Veterinarian and it is very clear that she loves her job. I would recommend to anyone looking for a vet for their furry members of their family!
