Grace costs you nothing, but it seems they have none to give. We had an 11:30 appointment on a Saturday, and unfortunately arrived 7 minutes late, baby in tow. I understand that timeliness is important, and I do my best to be early or on time to all appointments; however, we have an infant and all parents know that sometimes things happen on the way out the door and you just can’t leave when you expect to. We were told by the banker immediately upon arrival that we could not accomplish what we came in for because there was not enough time left in the workday. He even pointedly looked at his watch before returning my handshake. He then said, “Even if you had walked in the door on time, we still may not have had enough time for everything.”
What I don’t understand is that I talked to this same man on the phone earlier in the week. He knew when my appointment time was, and the tasks we were trying to accomplish. Why wasn’t I told on the phone that these things would have been better suited for an earlier time slot? I would have moved my appointment up. But instead I was greeted like I was an incompetent inconvenience, and told I would have to come back to finish our appointment. Which, by the way, I won’t be doing.

I called the Wells Fargo in Midlothian and was told that they were too busy to execute a wire transfer. The associate said that I would have to deposit the necessary cash and then wire it on the WF app. I told her the amount of the wire transfer. I did as I was instructed-driving to the bank and going through the drive-through to deposit the cash. I sat in the bank parking lot and went through the process of setting up the wire. It was pending when I left. The money was taken out of my account but then later credited. Evidently, there is a daily limit. This was a time-sensitive transfer and it would have been helpful if she had let me know that the amount would exceed the online wire limit. I will be closing both of my accounts with them.

Tried setting up my online access with a customer service representative over the phone and got nowhere. Provided all the information they asked for and they still cannot help me with setting up online access with my account that I already have with Wells Fargo. The only help and advice they gave me was I needed to step into a branch to be helped. Extremely frustrating. Will no longer be banking with Wells Fargo
