Worst home builder in Richmond. The day they hand the keys to you they turn into your worst enemy. We had many issues over the years after we moved in and getting them to come out and do anything about it is nearly impossible. They will fight you tooth and nail on any issue you bring to their attention. When they do come out and fix something, it’s often just as shoddy as the work they are fixing. I have had a great experience working with MSH. All the people I worked with were wonderful. Charis Nordberg and Allen Caraher could not have been more helpful. They were always available if I needed an answer to a question. Almost every Friday they would either FaceTime or call me about the progress on the building of my house. This was so helpful, first of all because of the Covid-19 and also because I didn’t live in Richmond at that time. It made me feel like I really could follow the progress. Also I had tremendous help from Jasmin Lofgren during the design session which had to be done over Zoom. It was very difficult but Jasmine made it easy and relaxing. I’m very excited to move into my house soon.

I sent my son to Village Bank for his home purchase & they were excellent with his loan so I called and was lucky enough to get Sharon Huff on the phone. Sharon was fabulous!! Sharon was always available for me, my agent, and the builder! Sharon always answered the phone and was quick to respond to emails. Sharon kept us informed throughout the whole process. Mike Layton was our main consultant through the entire home buying process. He was super friendly, made all the numbers very simple to understand, and ran different variations of our down payment so we could see how our mortgage payment would look based off various down payments. I never once felt rushed in Mike's office or on the phone with him. He truly wanted us to feel good about buying a house, and even came to our closing for last minute questions. I highly recommend Mike as a consultant.

Ingrid is by far the BEST loan officer around! She has helped my husband and I purchase two homes and is helping us now with our third. She is quick to respond and knows a lot about the different types of loans available. She helped us buy our first home when we weren't even sure we could qualify. By being patient and working with us on our first home purchase, she created loyal faithful customers who will never go elsewhere.
