Came into Value City off Midlothian and Hugeunot to look at bedroom sets. The Manager, Jeff, who was simply filling in from his Fredericksburg store, was completely helpful, knowledgeable and sweet. He showed me what to look for regarding picking out valuable pieces, while maintaining reasonable pricing. He was a joy to interact with! Thanks a million Jeff!?

Worked with Bill Donohue at this location where I bought numerous pieces of furniture to furnish my new home. Figured out a delivery date that was a month out. Delivery day come and it was us calling and trying to find where our furniture was. Was informed that we had to wait two more months for furniture. I would look elsewhere where.

The delivery team was very professional and helpful. They helped us to take the bed that we had in the bedroom out. They were very quick and efficient with the set up of the bed and the rest of the bedroom furniture. I rated this four stars instead of five due to the fact that we ordered the entire set back in June, but the bed was not delivered until October. The delivery date kept getting pushed back for the bed. Other than that, our experience was a good one and, we would definitely return back. The quality is good for then price we paid.

Jim was great. He welcomed us at the door, pointed us in the direction of sofas, and let us just browse. He was easy to find when we had questions. He didn't pressure us into making a purchase. Prices are a little high, but furniture is durable and built to last. We will definitely be using them for our future purchases.

Let me start off by saying Thank you to Katie. From the moment I walked into the store, she was there to listen. My wife has polycystic kidney disease as well has I have a 6 week old newborn at home. In this sense, my family needed a new stiffer couch (since the once that we have can only have the lining down so many times with fishing wire to prevent it from giving out). With medical bills for my wife and new born, baby supplies, groceries, a mortgage and bills, I only had so much in my wife's and my budget for a new couch. After Katie spoke with her manager, there didn't seem to be any wiggle room in the price. I understood and thanked Katie for her time. That couch price was just slightly out reach for my family to afford. What Katie did next I've never experienced in my life. Katie asked me how much I needed help with. 1) asking a stranger how much they needed help with 2) actually going through with it are two things you just don't see. She the let me know if 150 out of her pocket would be justifiable and if that would help my family. This wasn't a sale anymore. Katie genuinely wanted to help me and my family. This transaction wasn't about putting money in Katie's pocket. It was a transaction to give my wife a second of ease on her lower back so she's not crying in pain. It was a transaction that would help my wife get up off the couch after feeding my son and no stay sunk in. It was a transaction of good faith and trust. I don't personally need an expensive couch, mattress and or living style. But when your wife is suffering on a daily basis, you have a 6 weeker at home and drowning in medical bill / bills in general, to have someone like Katie give out of her own pocket was truly mind blowing. I will never forget this and Katie's selfless act. Not for a sale but for a moment of peace of mind for my wife while I have to be at work ( not being able to be there to assist her and take care of my son). Thank you once again for everything.
