I love this place. A small family vibe. Immaculately clean. You can see them clean and autoclave all the equipment each time which I love. Prices very reasonable and the quality is top notch. It always smells really lovely inside as well.

Walk-ins welcomed and usually one can sit right down for a pedicure or manicure. Kind staff. Excellent service. Reasonable pricing. My go-to.

I was treated very rudely. I have been going to this establishment for eight years, I get a pedicure. I use the massage chair. I guess I changed the settings on it and he started yelling at me that I didn’t come there for a massage but for a pedicure I was humiliated and couldn’t believe he was talking to me like that. I tipped the girl and I left and I said I’m sorry I don’t know what’s the matter with you but I will be telling 10 people. He said go ahead and tell 1000 people I hope you do. very, very disappointed in this place and then the man who runs it and owns it I believe

I have been going to this nail salon for years and did not have any issues until last week. I asked the owner Kevin Tu has his prices increased because he has never posted any prices in the salon over the seven years I have been going to his salon. He asked what did he charge me the last time and when I told him it was $10 more than last time he claimed it was due to repair and cutting my nails. I noticed he never charged like that before but was just asking to know what to expect because he never
communicated to me that it would be extra. The moment I said it was higher than my previous time and wanted to know if his prices had increased, he got upset and said he has never cheated me.
Well I wasn't implying that just needed to know has his prices increased. He told me he was done with me and to find someone else to do my nails. What kind of customer service is this? I was only asking so l could know what to expect to pay and have every Right to ask! This was very unprofessional and ugly of him to treat a loyal customer like this for inquiring about his prices when he has Never posted any of his prices for service in the salon as other nail salons. I am very disappointed in his attitude and poor customer service. I will never do business with such a hot head nor will I refer any more of my friends to this place. I witnessed him yelling at another customer one day in front of everyone for her to not shake the nail polish. He screamed you drop it and break it, you pay $20.00! This was so unprofessional and crazy of him. I advise him to get the help he needs for his temper or get out of the nail salon business!!

I've been here multiple times and have always had a pleasant experience with the staff and excellent service. I've had manicures and pedicures here. They all do a fabulous job and are always professional. I love coming here and will continue to do so. I'm glad I found this hidden little gem and I'm happy to share it with whomever is looking for a place that you don't need an appointment and a more relaxed atmosphere. It sounds like some people call and schedule an appointment occasionally, but I believe it's just as easy to stop in when you can!

I can't say enough good things about this place! This review is for eye brow waxing with Hannah but let me tell you, I waited for a month and flew from Florida to have Hannah do my eyebrows today. I've been coming to Hannah for 2 years. I used to live near and went because this location was really convenient but after I moved to short pump I couldn't find anyone decent who did exactly what I wanted so I would drive back to midlo to have Hannah do my eyebrows. Now I live in Florida and waited to have Hannah do my eyebrows today. She's amazing and I love her.

Hidden gem! Kevin was great and friendly! Stopped in to try something different and was met by a pleasant surprise. You can tell Kevin takes pride in his work and has an eye for detail. Unlike other places who often do a rash job. The ambient was peaceful, relaxing, and clean! Loved the entire experience!

I am still bewildered by how I was treated at this nail salon. I had an appointment (and have been there several times before,no issues) and was seated for pedicure. I asked the lady to assist me with the remote for the massage chair. She answered me but I didn’t understand her strong accent so I thought she said she didn’t know how. Ok, so I proceed to press buttons and get it working. About maybe 10 minutes into pedi, the chair pauses, so I try to start it again, pressing buttons. This is when the man up front comes over and proceeds to yell at me and accuse me of trying to break his chair.! I was shocked! I explain to him that that is not at all my intention. And apologize. Then he continues to yell at me about the chair. It was unbelievable. Then he walked away. After a minute of collecting myself, and letting my heart rate go down, I said to the young lady doing my feet that I cannot stay here. I need to leave. She says I must pay for half of the pedicure. I owe her $15. So I pay and I leave. That is the honest to goodness craziest thing I’ve ever encountered. Very rude. Awful experience.

I think I have posted a review before, but here we are again! Star Ruby is my favorite! I have been going to Kevin for years and have never been disappointed! Reasonably priced and quality work! The salon is always clean and welcoming. If you haven’t checked them out, do it!

I have been getting my nails done at Star Ruby for a few months and have decided I will not go anywhere else. It is extremely clean and relaxing and the staff is very professional and kind. It's small and quiet and their gel manicures last for a long time.
