Scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning, they didn't showed, email, text or anything. Called and ask what's going on said running late and gave an ETA. They missed that one as well. Update, they came today and I can still see and touch the chip

Terrible experience, I had an appointment and needed to reschedule and when I went to do that they told me I had no appointment for the day that was scheduled. They actually told me I was supposed to be there the same morning I called to reschedule, but it makes no sense because the confirmation time and date I received was the same that I was scheduled for and whenever I requested to talk to someone else the phone magically disconnects. I finally get a chance to talk to someone and get it rescheduled and get the mobile service but when the day comes the people don’t show up. I call the next morning to ask what the problem is and they put me as a ‘no call no show’ the day of my NEW appointment when THEY didn’t come out and do the mobile service. Then I had to reschedule for a day that I have to work so they’ll do it at my job and who knows if they will even show up. It’s ridiculous at this point I’m highly unimpressed.

made a appointment to get windshield replace, day of appointment Safelite calls and says techinican didnt come to work today w. must reschedule you, we rescheduled for the following week. on the day of that appointment from 8am to 1pm no one showed up. i notice i have a text message at 11:30am saying we rescheduled this appointment for 2 weeks. Didnt even give me a call. I call to speak with manager, of course he wasnt there and never returned my phone call.

This company refuses to be upfront with their pricing and makes it impossible to discuss any questions with an actual person.
I need a windshield replacement, and wanted an idea of cost including the calibration that I know my vehicle would need (my vehicle has safety features such as adaptive cruise control). I received an online quote for a around $400, but the quote specified that recalibration was not quoted, and may cost extra. I have never had a windshield replaced, so I have no idea if I should expect the recalibration should cost $50 or $1000.
I went to the live chat option and asked how to get a quote for the full replacement and recalibration, and they said they don't do that - their exact words were "that's not how things are done right now." In order to get a recalibration price, I would have to schedule an appointment. Then I would supposedly get an email that included a recalibration cost. If I didn't like the cost, I would then have to cancel the appointment.
This makes absolutely no sense. I got my quote using my VIN number. There is no more information they could gather between the online quote and me booking an appointment that they couldn't just provide at the initial quote. They just want people to book and inconvenience their customers any way they can so that they are stuck with this terrible service and potential extra costs. Based on other reviews I also have my doubts that 1. I would get an email including a recalibration cost, and 2. I could cancel with no penalty to me.
On top of the process being terrible, the chat agent was incredibly rude in explaining the process to me. I will never use Safelite to replace my windshield. This place is a scam.

I went to schedule a windshield replacement, drove all the way there just for them to say that the replacement windshield is broken, and reschedule me another week. What is this nonsense?! wasting people's time and gas. Phone customer care is basically useless.

Went to Safelite because that’s where USAA auto insurance wanted me to go. Big mistake after texting me four days in a row. Reminding me of the appointment. Got there. 45 minutes later they come out and tell me they don’t have my windshield.. That was 50 mile round-trip and a half a day wasted. Went to Smilys auto glass repair shop and work was done on time in a very professional manner.

Sealed my dashcam cord underneath my windshield in November on my 2023 Camry. Just now getting the mold out but refusing to pay for mold testing to make sure it is safe for my child and I. Horrible customer service and response time!!!

I had an appointment July 16 for a windshield replacement from the hours between 1-6 I patiently waited for my tech steffen to arrive as I was told he was running behind 6:00pm came no one showed up I never recieved a phone call text message or email of any updates I highly do not recommend getting your windshield replaced from them they very unprofessional please do not waste your time.

No local call in number and messed all of my sensors up in my car disconnected my wiper washer tube didn't connect it back and my dashboard had warning lights on all over when I picked my car up. If you got insurance take your car to the dealership these guys are horrible. The worst service ever. Took the car back and samething, but this time the technician lied and told my insurance they fixed it. Very unprofessional. Now I have to put in another claim for the dealership to fix the problem. Don't bring your car to this place, they will screw you over for a dollar.

Very frustrated with this facility. We broke the truck rear window and needed the temp plastic film until we were able to set up an appt with Safelight. They refused to assist with this even though we were willing to pay for the service. I think I will check into a competitor when we do get it fixed.

I called and made an appointment. They said about 3 hours. When I dropped it off they said about 3 hours. Over 5 hours later still not ready.
