I purchased my first Subaru with Oliver a couple of months ago and the experience was amazing! I was hesitant in buying a new car from previous bad experiences with salesmen being super pushy and inconsiderate but Oliver is was the opposite. He was there to answer any questions I had and was super friendly but not pushy at all and that made my experience amazing! I also had an unexpected event happen to my car and Laura with the service team ordered me a new glass window and had it fixed for me even with a holiday weekend in a jiffy. She was super pleasant to work with and everyone at Hyman has treated me well so far.

We needed new license plates installed on our Subaru and were unable to figure out how to add the front plate.
Our Subaru Crosstrek was purchased in North Carolina, where front plates are non-existent. There were no holes or place to mount a front license plate.
Now back in our beloved Virginia and needing front plates, we visited Hyman Brothers Subaru on Midlothian Turnpike.
SEANDRA SILVA greeted us, identified our needs and introduced us to RONNY in the Hyman Brothers service bay.
RONNY went right to work - even though they were busy and we did not have an appointment.
Ronny drilled the necessary holes in the front bumper, and Seandra gave us a Hyman Brothers Subaru license plate bracket for front AND back plates.
Ronny installed the front plate with the nice bracket and added the new plate bracket to the rear license plate.
Ronny and Seandra provided an excellent service experience! They each welcomed my wife and me back to Virginia and thanked US for visiting Hyman Brothers Subaru.
WOW! That felt GREAT, and was a heart-warming service experience we will not forget.
Our heartfelt appreciation to SEANDRA SILVA and RONNY at Hyman Brothers Subaru.
We are grateful to them for exemplifying the reason we missed Virginia so much while away, and why we are so happy to be back home!

After my AT oil temp light came on, Hyman Bros diagnosed my car with a faulty valve body, which is a known Subaru defect with an extended warranty. However, since my warranty had expired, I paid $1,700 out of pocket for the repair. Shockingly, just four months later, the light came back on. Another Subaru dealership then informed me that the entire transmission needs replacement . There is metal in the fluids, which Hyman Bros failed to test or flush. It appears Hyman only replaced a single component, neglecting the broader issue.
Subaru of America has since provided me with a $4,000 credit for a new transmission, acknowledging Hyman Bros’ incorrect diagnosis and inadequate repair. Throughout this ordeal, the service manager at Hyman Bros was not only dismissive but also incredibly rude when I sought clarification about the neglected fluid check. Avoid Hyman Bros at all costs—they offer poor service and treat customers with blatant disrespect.
Update: Subaru of America reimbursed me fully for Hyman’s error in only fixing a symptom, not the actual problem. Pictured is the the 1,700 check for reimbursement for Hyman's failure.

The salesperson was completely knowledgeable about Subaru's productions: I drove two different models, rather quickly decided on the one I preferred and purchased it. I also tried Toyota's Camry, but very favorable family experiences with Subaru eliminated Camry.

Service Dept. is horrible. Had a routine oil change done on an out back and got home only to find that the oil is slowly leaking out. Called and they refused to tow the car back to their shop for proper repairs. If you can deliver the car with out me having to drive my wife two hours, I
will take down this review.

This was my first visit for service at Hyman Subaru and it was for my 80,000 check up. The service rep told me what was to be done and what to expect on my next service. He wanted me to understand that Hyman desired my business.

We went to the dealership to look at the Forrester, not to buy, but do some data collecting. Oliver came out and greeted us. He answered all of our questions, he was knowledgeable, polite, courteous, and well-spoken on the various Subaru models. We did not buy today, but plan to in the near future, and when we do, we’ll be seeing Oliver.
