This is a wonderful charming used book store that has been around forever and will hopefully continue to be around forever. It was my first visit on independent bookstore Saturday. The ladies were awesome and helpful. I had a blast.
In October of 2020 Dorryce and Caroline bought the 30+ year old bookstore from the Kerby Family, the original owners. Thanks in part to the community, estimated 175,000 half priced books and 7200 square feet of space, the store has become one of the best used bookstores in the Mid-Atlantic. Dorryce and Caroline have always had a passion for books and are excited to share their passion with others. It is their pleasure to continue the traditions of the Midlothian Book Exchange and be part of this amazing community.
