The Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation offers an excellent visitor centre and museum, with a knowledgeable on-site curator making good progress in establishing a new Civil War site for enthusiasts and historians. The museum and shop are well-done, providing insights into the Cedar Creek battle, the war in the valley, and the restoration of the Heter house across the street. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the site hosts wonderful historical reenactments with great narration. For history buffs, the battlefield and visitor centre are a must-visit, with displays, artifacts, a sutler section, a movie, and even a dress-up area for kids. The gift shop also has a nice variety of items, making it a hidden gem for clever stickers.

The visitor centre and museum are excellent. The on site curator is making good progress establishing a new CW site for enthusiasts and historians. Well worth a visit.
