INCOMPETENCE is an absolute understatement. WORST place we’ve ever gone to get prescriptions filled. First 18-24 months after our move to King William, Walgreens kept filling our prescritions at our old Walgreens in Va Beach. After roughly 2 years, that got straightened out. Meanwhile, we’ve had to ask them just about every visit to re-enter our medical debit card and to remove our credit card so it’s billed correctly. The last straw has been the INCESSANT automated calls they make to alert you when EACH Rx has been filled, then after calliing them to confirm all the Rxs are ready, we drive 35 minutes to pick them up only to find out they have ONLY ONE READY … but if you can wait 15-20minutes, we can get those ready.

For the second month in a row, they have "forgotten to order the Rx". This is the same Rx that has been taken for the past 10months. Since it's Friday, the "kind person" in the pharmacy said they wouldn't be able to get it until sometime next week. Costing me another copay since the Rx has to be picked up within 7 days of the doctor's appointment, which would be Monday. Completely incompetent!

The staff is wonderful and incredibly helpful. If I don't come in often enough the pharmacist will call me at home to make sure I'm okay!

I like Walgreens. But today I am afraid they missed the mark. I know employees hard to find. I went in to ask a question and sales person in miscellaneous isle was on her phone and never even responded. Maybe there should be a no phone policy during work hours. I left and went to CVS. They greeted me, helped me sign up for discount coupon, gave me more coupons and I left with huge purchase for 9 dollars! I also noticed selection was very poor compared to other times

Robbed me of $100 dollars because they filled the wrong prescription, and when I went to return it, they told me the pharmacy doesnt allow for returns.

Brittany in the pharmacy was very knowledgeable and professional she took care of changing my insurance over in the system, she went above and beyond for what she had to do. I was very impressed !

Had a prescription called in and went to pick up 30 mins later, was told it would be another 35-45 mins. Went back an hour later and was told it would be another 45-60 mins.

On Friday I was told that my prescription would be ready after10am on Saturday. On Saturday I called to check on the status of my prescription. The person who identified herself as the manager said the pharmacist "didn't show up today" so the pharmacy is closed today. She said they do not have a backup. She said I could not pick my prescription up at another Walgreens location because it is "controlled." Unbelievable. I will get this prescription hopefully tomorrow and after that I will never go to Walgreens again.

Three prescriptions sent in, pharmacy fills one and tells me have a nice day..uh, other two?! Stated they would fill them and call over store speaker when they were ready ..I sat AT THE PHARMACY and NO ONE said a word ..after 40 minutes my husband asked how much longer..they were ready and in a bin… NOT A FAN!

Clean store and friendly staff. Employees always try to go above and beyond for customers. Taking that extra step of trying to remember the names of regular customers and greeting them as they come in to make them feel welcome.

I was recently selected to interview for a position. I was told during the interview that I could negotiate the starting wage. I graciously received an offer letter and it noted the wage. A wage that I said during the interview that I would not be able to take. Too substantial of a pay cut from my current occupation. So I called and noted this and the individual who I will not name got in my opinion quite snippy. I was told during the interview I could negotiate and was never given the opportunity. At the time of the interview the interviewer was professional and courteous as was the staff but the attitude I received just now on the phone was unacceptable and was in so many words told that the wage was nonnegotiable even though I was told it was. I noted in the interview that I did not want to waste their time with the process if I couldn’t even negotiate up. Quite disappointed in this because I was genuinely interested and excited for the position. No more than 30 seconds after the phone call where I respectfully requested to withdraw I received an email saying I was not selected due to lack of qualifications which is not true. 2 stars only because they were nice to me on the day of the interview. I feel like I dodged a bullet. Shame too.

After getting confirmation my order was ready, I show up to find out it hasn’t been started… more than an hour after it was confirmed ready!! The lady was beyond rude and then said she’s the store manager

Constantly being sent away by the pharmacy. Latest example was that I just had surgery and my doc called in a script. Went there 30-60 mins after it was called in and was told it wasn’t ready and to come back in 20-30 minutes. Came back in 20 minutes and sat in a line of 4 cars for 30 minutes. Then we were told to come back after 2:00pm at 1:20pm. Is it really that hard to give an accurate estimate of when 12 pills will be put into a bottle?
