“This is the best Goodwill store in Richmond area. Kudos to the manager for ensuring that it is well organized, clean, and so enjoyable to shop. Everything is sorted by color, which is pleasing to the eye. There are so many odd things of unexpected kind and purpose - so much fun to browse. Pricing is very reasonable, I never had the thought in my mind that something is priced ridiculously high, like it happens elsewhere. My compliments to store staff and managers.”

“This store was a very cool find. They have some estate stuff as well as some newer things by artists. The prices are reasonable for the most part... that is a personal preference but for us most of it was reasonable. Some of it was high. What is nice is that if some of the stuff stays around for a while- the price drops and the price tag has the dates it drops. There is a wide variety of things... furniture, mirrors, art, plates, etc.The people that work there are very nice and helpful.I have told several people about this location! We go every month or so to see what is new.”

“I go to Goodwills all over Central Virginia and this is one of the better ones. I go for the household items and this store had plenty, including a nice set of 6 green salad plates I bought for $4.99 or about 83 cents each. This is a nice large place, looked well organized, no problem parking and if you are in the Glen Allen/Ashland area this is a must to go to. I drove 35 minutes to get to this area and hit 8 thrift/antique stores on a Saturday. Great area to shop and 2 Goodwills to go to.”

Shoes, clothes, crafts, furniture, records, books...jyst a great selection. Found a funny little ninja fart guy. He's still there ?”

“Great thrift shop with low prices! Had furniture, home items, and clothes.I was confused about the pictures posted under this location's reviews because they seemed like family pictures and not of the store. But I went anyways and glad I did! Will definitely be returning”

“Good Samaritan ministry is just that! It's a ministry that helps others. While some of the donations that they receive are used for the basic needs of the men involved in the discipleship programs, many of the items donated are placed in the thrift store and sold to the community. The proceeds from these sales are used to subsidize the various costs of the ministry such as taxes, maintenance, fuel, insurance, utilities, and mortgage payments for buildings. The Good Samaritan Thrift Store also serves an important function in the rehabilitation process of the men on the program through job training. They learn the value of a good work ethic and obtain skills that will relate to their future employment opportunities.”

“Furniture prices often start out high, but they get marked down regularly. Good pricing on other items, and they mark everything down regularly. The store always has a large inventory. Not the cleanest place. All items in the store are 25% off every Tuesday.”

“I visited this Goodwill on a Saturday in Ashland hitting all the thrift/antique stores and if I buy something it automatically gets 5 stars. I go for the household items and this Goodwill had plenty of great choices. I have no idea how each store prices their merchandise, but this Goodwill seemed a bit higher priced then the nearby Glen Allen store. This is a must to go to if you are doing the thrift/antique thing.”

“I've shopped in person and online with Mom2mom. I've been super happy with my experience each time. When I went in person, I sold some clothes and received a very good amount of store credit when I then was able to use on my purchase. I felt like the amount was super fair and reasonable! I was so happy to be there on their 50% clothes day and got a lot for my mom.

I also shopped online during their 50% off clothing sale and they shipped SO fast. I got my items in record time! It was packaged up so nice as well.

I'll definitely continue shopping here.”

“One of the good locations. I alwaysss find good items here especially shoes. Their shoe selection is why this is my go to location. They also have a good selection of household items...some of these items can be a bit pricey but I just leave those on the shelf ? and only pick up what is reasonably priced. Staff is always polite as well. Thanks for doing a great job!”

“Well-organized with lots of merchandise, but overpriced. A couple items caught my eye today but the price was too high for me. Dresses for $25, men's shirts $10-$20. Target brand dress priced at $10 when you can almost get them on sale new at that price. It made me sad. Prices were significantly higher than when I had last been here about a year ago. I used to love coming to this thrift but I probably won't go back.”
