I deposited a check into this institution and mysteriously my money was deposited into someone else's account. Needless too say my deposit is lost with no help from Primis Bank.

Worst customer service experience ever at this bank on 8/8/2022. I was there to close the account I had with my parents who both passed away in 2021. I was clear about what I was there to do. The new teller started the process of closing the account, asking one of the tellers next to her what to do. I shared I had paperwork, she said it wasn't needed since I was on the account as a full account owner. Then a different teller asks her what she is doing (never talking to me or asking me to step into another office, etc.), just before we were about to finish the process, and hijacks the closing of the account so they could make sure I had the appropriate paperwork, which was already sent to another branch of this bank. She walked over to an office with the paperwork I had supplied and spent time discussing this with their manager, never talking to me about what was needed. I had to interrupt her walk to the office to ask what was going on. I produced the paperwork and they continued to tell me it was my fault for not putting an email address in correctly to send them the paperwork, or that I should have done this or that. I was crying through most of this as I'm dealing with the grief still of losing both of my parents. Leadership there, Michele (with one L) Hottle, should take responsibility for not training the staff appropriately. It was not my fault or the new teller's fault. Take responsibility for the people you manage, tell them what to do in these situations, be compassionate to all of YOUR customers, and stop blaming customers ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO ARE GRIEVING.

I don't not like this bank at all. I had money going to this bank and the person Lindsey tampered with my bank account and somehow pushed my money to another account. I called the corporate branch and they claim they don't know how she did this because she did not get permission from anyone higher than her to do this. If shes able perform these kind of actions and no one seems to know how she did it I wonder what else she can do without anyone's knowledge and who else bank account she tampered with. This was at the Mechanicsville branch.
