omg! kelly did a keratin treatment on my hair, and I am SO HAPPY! my hair is very thick coarse and frizzy. I also bleach my hair and use heated styling tools almost daily. the treatment has made my hair unbelievably soft and looks so healthy. it even cut the time it takes to blow dry it IN HALF!! I highly recommend salon 606!

TURN AND RUN!! Stylist Gracie Dykema completely fried my hair with bleach to the point it was breaking off in chunks in the salon chair afterwards. I chose to leave with wet hair because I was horrified. My hair has not stopped breaking off since then. Gracie ignored my initial text and after I contacted the owner, who apparently asked her to respond to me, Gracie's response was that my hair was in "awful condition" when I arrived anyway. Thanks, so then WHY would you go forward with bleaching my hair for 2 hours? She had no response to this. Offered no apology whatsoever, either. Kelly, the owner, advised me there is nothing she can do because the stylists rent their booths. For anyone reading this...Go somewhere where there is some accountability, human decency and skill.

Had such a great experience at 606. Kelly listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. The salon is very cute and welcoming. I have been trying to find someone in Mechanicsville since I moved here that I could trust with my hair, and I just did!

Kelly has been cutting my hair since i was a little girl and also cuts my entire families hair. She always goes the extra mile to squeeze us in when we have a busy schedule. We have never left the salon disappointed and she truly cares about her clients. I cannot imagine letting anyone else touch my hair!
