I've had good luck with in store purchases but their online orders need some help. Ordered a tool, only 1 small item, at 6:39 am. 9 of them in stock. Supposed to be ready for pick up in 3 hours. Had someone try to pick it up around 1 o'clock and it was not available here it is almost 3 o'clock and it's still not available. Sounds like a small issue, but if you offer a service, at least be close to what you say you can will do. I'd rather shop local. But how can I continue to do this when Amazon can have it to my doorstep within 24 hours? They'll need to step it up if they want to keep people's business. Do not count on this store if you are trying to run a business. They definitely need a change in management, training or either this is the best their recruitment can find for employees in the area.

Normal poor customer service at Mechanicsville Virginia Lowe's. We stopped in yesterday evening for some 4x4x6 pressure treated wood. The web site showed many in stock. They were in stock, bit located on high racks (needing a fork lift to access). We asked for help twice, and were told that there were no workers in lumber, do the manager would assist us. But, we would have to wait 20+ minutes for him to finish eating. We left and purchased from Home Depot with no issues.

Do not recommend ordering anything for delivery from Mechanicsville. No communication. Still waiting after 3 times not showing up in their scheduled delivery time. No help or answers. Paid a lot of money, have not received my order. Skip the frustration.

I can never ever get someone to answer the phone when I call Lowe'. I am a Lowe's credit card owner and have had different project done by Lowe's but if you have a question or trying to reach the store no one ever answers the phone. Worst customer service I have seen in years. Doesn’t show up for a delivery -Twice. No one answers the phone, when they do, they are less than helpful. Lost me for a customer for good

Don't order from the Mechanicsville VA location. I ordered an oven on Black Friday for delivery in December. I called the day before to confirm the delivery, and everything was good. On the day of delivery the oven never came, and I called customer service. They hung up on me the first time and when I called back they let the phone ring for over 10 minutes. Once I got a hold of them they told me that the delivery was delayed 3 months, which I was never notified of. The customer service *manager* got an attitude when I asked why it was delayed, and gave no answer except that it's not her fault. Ultimately I cancelled the order, lost the Black Friday savings, and will go without an oven until I can find a replacement. The manager offered no remedy and was happy to cancel the order to end the phone call. I really couldn't say more about the poor service, attitude, and unwillingness to help in any way.

They are not in Compliance currently with this Pandemic. Workers have no masks or gloves on. But also neither do about 75% of the Customers. Not sure what planet they are from.

If you have any problems at Lowe's, don't expect customer service to help you, unless you wait , wait, wait, and even then don't expect much. I had to call corporate headquarters to get any response...Never shop there again.

When there is adequate sales people Lowes is the go to place for do it yourself projects. Staff is always knowledgeable and ready to help. It also helps to have a Lowe's card that keeps track of your purchases and the additional 5% for business highly recommend this store

Bought 3 major appliances. WAs lied to twice about promised delivery dates.of washer and dryer. Waited patiently almost two weeks after my cash purchase for the third appliance ( dishwasher) to be installed. On day of installation I had to call to check why they weren't at my home an hour after appointment. Was lied to again. They stated that someone called and canceled the install. Went to the store the next morning to get a full refund.for dishwasher install and take away of my old one. Awful experience. Could never recommend

I've been to this store many, many and the service has been fine. But, I recently purchased a dishwasher (9/4) and it has been a scheduling nightmare for the installation! Everyone is "nice" when I visit the store to inquire, there have been promises to "work it out", "make a call", and even installers lying about the scheduled date. Everyone is "nice" for the sale, but limited support/concern on the installation!!! Hoping to have the new dishwasher within the week- we'll see......

We recently purchased a complete appliance package from the Lowes store in Mechanicsville, Virginia. We truly had an awesome experience! Gaylord was our sales associate and was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to all our needs. When it came time to close the deal, he did everything he could to help us find the absolute best prices. We highly recommend Gaylord for all your appliance buying needs.

While I recommend our hometown Lowe's for the wonderful products they carry, the customer service in this store is in great need of training. Twice in the past 12 months I have had to deal with something major for my home, and their customer service (the front line) has left me wondering is it's worth it to shop there!

Lowes has some serious issues with staffing. It seems that you have to search the store for someone to help! I think they really need to cross-train the employees so that they have some experience in multitude departments. The installation team for Lowe's used to be in house at the store. But now, you have to call Lowe's regarding installation with a number that is out of state! Simply ridiculous. And if you get a new person then you are out of luck! It is interesting that no manager has ever replied to any of the reviews posted to Yelp! Looks like they don't care about the customer!
