First time leaving a negative review for something. Just wanted to say the extreme lack of communication, and hostility is why I’ve decided to leave this vet. I have been bringing my pup here for 5 years since I rescued her. And for some reason for the past 3 years I have not received any notifications or contact informing me that she was due for any updated vaccines, meds, annual check ups, etc. despite the fact that they had all of my information, the only “notifications” I received that she was due for something was the declining of her medication unexpectedly when trying to order it. This caused lapses in meds my pup needed.. when, for the third year in a row, her meds lapsed and I called questioning why this keeps happening one of the receptionists stonewalled me and began remarking that it’s illegal for me to not bring her for her annual check up and she’s out of date for her rabies, insinuating that I’m intentionally not bringing her and being careless… every single person I know who has a companion is notified and kept up to date by their veterinarians about up and coming vaccines, visits, etc. honestly… if, when I called up there, I wasn’t met with such hostility I may have even stayed and given them another shot but at this point my patience is exasperated. Just my personal experience with the service. I hope the best for someone else and that possibly they can communicate better for others in the future.Edit: they deleted my review, so reposting

No compassion at all, they only care about money, I took my dog there and he has been clipped, I called them back and they want to seek me a medicine for the problem that they caused to my dog, I will never come back to that place…. They charge you extra for same tests many times even when you did not ask for it and it’s not relate to the problem

My elder dog was sick, called during business hours 8:15 am to make an appointment, no answer. Waited 20 mins called again, no answer so left voice message. An hr went by with no returned call so called again, still no answer. Decided to drive there and immediately I could feel bad energy from the two ladies at the counter . Asked to be worked in to see a doctor and that I have been trying to call and left a message but they didn’t have an answer to why I was being ignored. Told them I have a sick dog, and response was we are all booked up. They didn’t check with the assistant or anyone to see if they can work it in sometime, just received an oh well attitude. It was like they didn’t care. It was sad it broke my heart. I Didn’t see one customer in the waiting room nor heard any animals. If this place has a staffing issue you need to fix it or close the doors bc you are worthless without doctors. As a customer for many many years, never had these issues. Left went to Rutland Animal Hospital as a new customer and they were so friendly from the start and squeezed us in that day and took great care of my dog ! They were so busy and still able to see my dog. I do not recommend Hanover Animal Hospital to anyone.

Dr. Billeter has served Hanover for longer than I can remember and his practice has endured and supported the needs of the community through all of its growth. No one has a more supportive or empathetic experience to offer, than the good folks at Hanover Animal. We wish him and his amazing family a prosperous future.

This is a horrible place, they have alot of 18-20 year Olds that don't care about your pet/s never ever leave your pet here alone, these people make 15,000 a year and don't care about your pet/s. Remember a pet or loved animal will never be able to tell you they were hurt during the visit unless you are there with the pet. It's some family ran place, so you already know they are lazy, and mommy and daddy will cover for anything. This is just from what I've seen and it's just my statement. They are also trying to scam people with false monetary transactions. YOU HAVR BEEN WARNED, if you don't care and think they do a good job, by all mean keep going there, but this is what my years of experience proved with this family ran torture and scam place.

Have always had a good experience with the care here. Multiple dogs over multiple years including most recently some extra care with a new very anxious, hyper and untrained dog. They went above and beyond to get us into a room with minimal distraction from other people or dogs, did their best at a quick examination and were able to get him the first round of puppy shots we figured the previous owner neglected to do. He's been working with an excellent trainer so hoping for a less dramatic experience on the follow up...

Our dogs always receive excellent care from everyone on the staff. We've been happy customers for 7+ years.

Been a dedicated client for over a decade. Four dogs. Emergency situation arose and I was waved off because of "no time slots" and "we don't take emergencies". To say I feel totally abandoned and betrayed is an understatement. Love Dr Tyson. But even being a client for years does not seem to count in an emergency. Makes me so sad because I trusted this clinic.

We haven’t been at Hanover Animal Hospital for over 4 years. We changed to a different doctor office because we experienced some problems with this clinic in the past. Somehow we received a huge bill yesterday for $500, saying 20 % late fees applies if I don’t pay. I called them immediately, the front desk ladies couldn’t help. I had to come back to see Rachel the next day. She told me they have a new system and they are sorry for inconvenience but please don’t bring your pet here anymore when I tried to explain why we stopped using them. So please if you have a dog you love, please don’t take him to Hanover Animal Hospital they will charge you $$$ if you have an emergency visit. They are all about dollar ? and they absolutely DON’T care if they completely ruined your day by making mistakes and give you a headache you didn’t deserve ? Rachel was rude and unprofessional. The front deck team never smiles not friendly not recommended .
