I had gottoen custody of my niece and nephew and needed child care right away, they welcomed them with open arms. Always asked if they could help me in any way. Having my own kids plus them was hard so my niece it was nice to have someone offer help and have empathy for my situation. My nephew is delayed educational wise and they pushed him to try his best and worked hard to make sure he didn’t feel left out. They took extra time with him to make sure he was learning what he had needed to learn. My niece teacher went above and beyond for her as well. They both had been through trauma and the staff took there time to learn them and understand they both had individual special needs and it all was new to them so the staff was very patient and understanding which I appreciated a lot.

SO the director of this daycare gave my 3 year old daughter a free trial day and on that day, my child came home with a huge bump on her head. My child told me that a larger boy used the edge of a big very heavy book to hit her head. I called the director the next day and she said she did not have any incident report and offered us a one week free trial. I refused the free trial, and I told her that I regretted to put my daughter there the first day since none of her staff cared about the safety of my daughter. I also read bad reviews about the bigger kid class in the past and I thought that was only happened in the other class but regretted that I ignored that review. I wouldnot even put my kid in any childtime for free.

(I am a former student) I honestly hated it. It was a horrible and violent environment for me. There was hitting, punching, hair pulling, kids throwing objects not meant to be thrown, and worse physical violence. A lot of teachers were cool, but the issue is really the manager. She was yelling, rude to employees, horrible to kids, and it seemed like she had favoritism. It was worse in my group (Youthzone B). I left August of 2017, it was the best thing I did for myself in a long time. Also encounters with her as former students was upsetting, very shady. Good luck to anyone going there ???, may God be with you

Childtime on Old Hickory was great. I had my little one earlier than expected, but they took her in early with open arms. I love the Precious Status (PresiouStatus) application and getting pictures/updates throughout the day. The environment is friendly and welcoming. They really care about you and your little one, treating you like a family. Thank you!

I have been cleaning this center for a few years and its one of the best places a child can come and learn. The staff and atmosphere is very warm and caring. I enjoy being here and looj to continue being here for many years to come.
