My shopping experience was fine until I got to the checkout line. The young lady that bagged my groceries dropped my slice of cake on the floor. Although the cake stayed in the sealed container, it became smooshed and the icing peeled off, sticking to the container. She simply apologized, picked it up and placed it in the bag. A much better solution would've been for her to offer me a different slice of cake since ruining this one was completely her fault.

Food Lion at the beach is always clean and well stocked. Staff are always knowledgeable and very courteous. Wait times for checkout are low to moderate. I'm generally able to find any items that I am looking for.
