I have been coming to the Y since the beginning of the year and I love it so much! I tried Atlee and Shady Grove so far. The Atlee location is the nearest to me. The staff is amazing management and the place is so unbelievably clean. Thank you so much for keeping the gym the way it is. The people at the front desk are so friendly, they treat you like family (specially Sharyn) great customer service.Classes are amazing and fun! The program Women on weights with Casie Sample is one of my favorites, but Katie, Kate, Cassie and more are there to help you reach your goals! Love the Y! Vamos?

This Y is amazing! It has everything you need for a good workout and is much less crowded than other gyms in the area. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Kerry always goes above and beyond to help with anything you need!

Amazing people who work here. Very kind and helpful. Recently the vending machine stole my money and I had 3 employees come and help me. Even gave me a beverage that I didn’t ask for to makeup for it. I would’ve been okay without it! Not only are the employees very kind, everyone I have met in the gym uses the facility respectfully with other. Everyone is aware of others and treats them with respect (asking about putting fans on, using machinery, and cleaning) Their yoga is also a amazing class! Would recommend for all families and singles !

The Atlee Station Family Y is an outstanding branch of the Greater Richmond YMCA and supports many, many local community support programs. From after school care to active senior activities, the Atlee Station Family Y helps offers many resources. The team led by Holly Austin is dedicated, friendly, and supportive of all the Y has to offer. Come visit and you will quickly become part of the family!

I like the friendly staff and clean environment. I gets busy at times but the location is great and close by. The staff are always willing to help with advice or spot you for safety. Can't ask for more!

Our family loves this YMCA! The staff are always kind and helpful. The equipment is well kept and clean. The childcare is clean, safe, and fun! My kids help me reach my fitness goals because they love coming to the gym with me! Though the Atlee station gym is smaller than others in the RVA district it’s never too crowded and I don’t often find myself waiting on equipment no matter what time I come.

I was parked near the trash to throw away a receipt from my pocket and go inside and get a new membership since I’m new to the area (I’m also a certified personal trainer). I got out of the car and was looking at the tree where there was 2 squirrels fighting. As I’m looking for a second, some front desk lady sprints out screaming at me to never use that private trash can again or else. Extremely mean and rude, so I apologized at least 5 times and drove Away as she’s still angry for whatever reason. I stopped by tropical smoothie and as I’m driving back home I see several of them standing outside staring at my car in a way like they wanted to yell some more at me. I felt extremely bullied and didn’t even know what to say. I worked at a ymca as a lifeguards for 8 years and have never experienced anything like this. I guess back to American family..

This gym might be small but it has everything you need in it. This is my daughter's favorite place to go for the kids club out of the three surrounding YMCAs. The staff are always super helpful and sweet. I love being able to go in know that my daughter is having a great time and the kids club and I have a great workout and go.
