“I would not call this an antique store whatsoever. I was disappointed in that regard. It was a lot of basic white b***h furniture and decorations. The place is HUGE and there are a TON of items to look at. I would go back for furniture for sure because a lot of it was pretty furniture for a decent price. However, I feel like they should advertise as an antique store because I don't feel that it is.”

“This place is absolutely STUFFED with anything paper you could want. Proprietor was helpful and friendly. Found something in my very specific niche. This is definitely the place to go for all sorts of old paper!”

“A really expansive antique place with many vendors. The first area itself is very large, but then once you start walking towards the back to the extra space, there is so much more! The prices are very reasonable. Also the staff there are so nice and kind, they welcomed us when we first came in and later made friendly conversation. There are a lot of good finds here.”

“Great antique mall with interesting items for fair prices. The staff was very kind and helpful. I was looking for items to use in a display at work and things my dad would enjoy. I found all of the above and a few things for myself. I will definitely be back!”

“I went there today and found out from the owner that the store wasn’t open but he still let me in. He was extremely passionate and helpful. He took time out of his day to help me look for a specific item. It was a wonderful experience.”

“Over 30 years ago we went to Governors and found a good match for our oak 5th leg for our oak dining room table. Honestly, even if you are not looking for a dang thing, it's worth visiting. Much more fun than a museum.Moved back to the area about 2 years ago, and still just as wonderful as I remember. Figured out my lamp was not broken and took pity on. I hope they are around forever. I hope my grandkids find them when the need them"Any way you want it, that's the way you need it...." ?”

“I absolutely love this place - it’s like one massive garage sale - but the place always smells like a gigantic fart. I think Cherie needs to cut back on the Mexican food. Another customer told me that Cherie’s nickname is “SKIDZ” - but it’s NOT because of her driving.”
