Disappointing Experience at 360 Cleaners and Laundromat
This evening (Monday 8/19/2024) I visited 360 Cleaners and Laundromat. I along with two gentlemen arrived at approximately 7:25 p.m. We began loading our items in our respective washing machines. As I was in the midst of loading my items in the machine the owner stopped me saying “ma’am last load is 7 o’clock.” Puzzled, I said “excuse me.” He repeated the statement telling me that the facility closes at 8:30 on Mondays (last load is to be started 1 and a half hours before close) and the last load to wash would have needed to be started at 7 o’clock. I assured him it would not take me a full hour to wash my load. I proceeded to point out to him that I did not come in alone. There were two men that came in at the same time and they were still loading their clothes in the machines. He says to me “he had arrangement. Please ma’am just leave.” I paused and watched these two men continue to load their machines. He went to one of the men and told him “last load is 7 o’clock.” The man responded to him saying he only needed to wash and not dry. The owner told him “OK.” So I asked if it was OK if I just washed my load also since it is OK for the gentleman to wash his load. He begrudgingly said “OK.” I finally loaded my clothes and started the wash at 7:35 p.m. The washer is set for 24 minutes (end time would be 7:59). At 7:57 the owner walks up to me and tells me that I “can dry for 15 minute” as though he is doing me a favor. Because by this time all of our clothes are almost finished washing and only one of the men was not planning to use the dryer so he’d have a hard time explaining why I couldn’t dry my clothes, but someone else was able to. I told him thank you. “Allowing” me to use the dryer for 15 minutes would put the time at 8:14. The laundromat still had posted hours that were an additional 16 minutes (8:30). My clothes would not be dry in 15 minutes, but they would have been dry in 25 minutes which is all I ever need. I have been going to that location periodically for the past 3 years. I’m usually there before the last load cut off time and I rarely go on Monday because of my schedule so I didn’t realize they close earlier on Mondays. If I’m there at the end of the day even if it’s 20 minutes before the cut-off time he always says something to me about the time meanwhile people will file in after me and he says nothing. Today was a bit much when clearly I arrived with other patrons yet he singled me out as though he didn’t want me to use the facilities. Not for nothing there’s always a positive. While my clothes were washing I Googled other laundromats that were open. I came across “Regency Laundromat.” Now, it is across town HOWEVER, they are open 7 days a week from 7 am - 11 pm. Their small washing machines cost $2.25/load (vs $3.25 at 360 cleaners), Their larger washing machines are $4.00 (vs $4.25 at 360) and their dryers are 6 minutes for $0.25 (vs 5 minutes for $0.25 at 360 cleaners). I’ve found a new laundromat to patronize. They are located at 9101 Quioccasin Rd. Richmond, VA 23229. We are all in this world together. It costs $0.00 to be kind and extend grace. But, even if you can’t find it within yourself to do either…at least be fair.

The place is ok, there’s no sinks or water fountains but it does have coin machines. 3 options for washers, 3.75 for small—7.00 for medium—& 9.00 for large sized washers. Vending machines are pricey. It’s a nice sized place but I won’t be back

Clean, functioning washers, dryers, and premises. Only complaint is that dogs are not allowed to accompany customers. Hot weather is coming and they've removed the shade trees, so dog can't be left in car. Guess this will impact my patronage.

Don't use this place. Attendent is rude and doesn't understand English. Very unhelpful and told me to take the jacket somewhere else. He didn't like my "face" when I tried to tell him what needed to be done. I've had a large washable rug done there twice before and had no problem. I won't go back there. VERY RUDE.

This is the greatest laundry place ever. It's always clean and all machines are in working order. The attendant is extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. He is always there for the patrons using the laundry mat. I highly suggest you check this out for yourself and see what great customer service is like.

I use this laundromat to clean bulky items. Facility is always clean and washers and dryers in working order. There is an owner on sight to assist. They also provide a drop-off service. I also feel safe in this location.

Clean and cheap prices. It has no heat or AC. It was very cold in the building. I just wish they had at least heat.

this laundromat is literally one the best laundromats i have seen in a WHILE. ive tried jerry's and regency's laundromats, but 360 cleaners has for sure beat them by a long shot. the owner is so kind and respectable and always goes out of his way to make sure the bathrooms and the machines are clean and working well. 10/10!! love this place!!
