We love Holston Furniture! We bought our dining room set there and we are really enjoying it. Their prices are not the lowest around, but the quality makes it well worth the cost. Delivery is very reasonable too. Friendly, helpful staff that does not pressure you, and a huge selection of items.

Loved the place until....I purchased many things over the years, but my last experience will unfortunately be the last with Holston Furniture. I purchase a king bed, adjustable base and split king mattresses in January. The pieces arrived a few at a time and that was expected. The king bed and bases are great and worth the wait, but the mattresses are a nightmare.First red flag was one bed was in a small box and the second was in a giant plastic bag. Scott, who I think is the owners son or he may be the owner, said he was sorry but one was opened so his father could see what it was like. Looking back, I should have refused to take them.Second red flag, we put the mattresses on the bed and these mattresses were not the same thickness and one was super soft and one was soft. We had actually ordered firm. I called and someone at the store said it takes 48 hours for them to reach full size (only the one in the box). One mattress is 14.25" and the other is 13.75" 2 months later.Third red flag and the reason for this review...I called and explained the situation, and how terrible these mattresses were, and this is how it went down. We can't help you because ENSO sleep has shutdown. They shutdown "yesterday" and are no longer in business so there is no warranty any longer.I pushed back a little, and Scott asked if I removed the tags. I had when we built the bed and put on the linens. His response was that we can't help you because I had removed the tags. So even if the tags where in place he explained he wouldn't help because of ENSO being closed (this is the part I take full responsibility for).I asked one final time as a business owner are you will to give me some store credit or anything to purchase different mattresses. His answer was no. That is where I left it.I will give them credit, the wooden furniture I have purchased there has been high quality and worth the drive and price, but this experience over these mattresses will keep me from going back. I work all over the area and I had recommended them dozens of times, but I can't imagine giving their information to anyone again.

WE BOUGHT FURNITURE FROM HERE 3 MONTHS AGO. OUR INITIAL SALES PERSON WAS GREAT ! SHE WAS VERY NICE & PERSONABLE. BUT ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY $$$, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. WORST I HAVE SEEN IN OUR 30 YEARS OF BUYING FURNITURE FROM GEORGIA TO NEW HAMPSHIRE. I WOULD NOT GO THERE TO GET FURNITURE EVEN IF THEY WERE GIVING IT AWAY.

An Obscure out of the way find. This place was a True Gem find. You will be handsomely surprised with the vast selection of furniture. You would be hard pressed if you were searching for furniture and could'nt find what you want here. There wonderful people to deal with.

Love stopping-in to shop at Holston Furniture whenever we come to Bristol, Abingdon, Meadowview to visit family. My parents attended school in this building many, many years ago. Sooooo glad the building is still here to hold those precious memories from the 1940's while now offering fine furniture and other household items to locals as well as folks like me who live in Chesapeake. We've bought a sofa, lamps and accessories from Holston Furniture. Kudos to Holston Furniture for keeping this historical building alive!?

Holston Furniture decided to raise prices in the last two weeks. I had came back to buy furniture that they had quoted a price two weeks ago. Today the man said prices went up even though they did not order a new bedroom suit. It was not about the money it was the way he was acting like a j*** over a couple hundred dollars. The lady that works there is extremely nice and helpful. Lost my business because of his attitude!

Holston furniture in Virginia is the bomb. We live in Colorado, but heard about this store through friends in Virginia. We went on line and bought a Classic Leather brand sofa made in North Carolina (USA made !). We paid for shipping, but still saved more than 50% of what we've seen these Classic sofa's retail for elsewhere. The folks at Holston are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.
