This motel is exactly what you hope to run into as a traveling worker with a small budget. It may be a bit outdated, but the entire place was very clean and kept up properly. Certainly one of the few cheap options for a place to stay in that area, but does not compensate like most motel owners on budget do. Room and towels, facilities and amenities all work and were very clean. Water is clean enough to drink, also never had to deal with unwanted or unruly guests. Mr. Ken McClure runs a tight ship there, and I definitely will be staying again, givin the opportunity to do so. Casey Local #147 operating engineers, va.

I will say that the rooms are clean, they have your basics, and the gentleman who takes care of the place is very nice and will do everything he can to make your stay positive. This is an older motel, and shows it's age inside and out, but I would definitely stay there again without hesitation. Thank you!

Wonderful experience yet again with Mr Ken. We stayed Sunday night all day Monday and Monday night and left about 11 am Tuesday morning. It was wonderful & peaceful & just amazing. It's right off the parkway in Meadows of Dan, which has Jane's country restaurant (excellent food!) a couple of nice gift shops, a candy factory & gas station/general store.. I love the older motels. nostalgic! Large rooms. fridge, microwave, coffee pot. Big table with comfy chairs. a desk, & even a small chest of drawers. has a ceiling fan. pull right up to your room door. chairs outside your room too.

This was an old time motel. You're key to your room was a key on a plastic keyring like they had years ago no electronics on the door room was very clean everything worked. Bed was a little uncomfortable they need new mattresses. But if you're in Virginia and meadow of the Dan stop there it's well worth the stop.
