“This morning at MAH, I was tearing up over the thought of losing access to this amazing hospital if and when we move. In 2006, we moved to McLean for the school district. In 2024, we are dragging our feet to move out of McLean because we love this hospital so much. It has been the rock for our 12 pets we have had over the last 18 years. Many of the staff have worked here for decades and they are literally family not just a business. They speak with one voice and act with one heart with the best interests of the pets and their human parents in mind. When in need, they have a vast network of specialized vets which they can tap into with ease in the most timely manner. The fabric of people there, their strong bond, is what makes it possible to enable consistently high quality of dedicated care. They have been with us through the most challenging of times, and every time, we are grateful we have been able to have our pets in the care of the best of the best. Yes, they may be pricey, but we have to understand the amount of training, the amount of education, the amount of experience day in and day out that goes behind the outstanding care they provide. To all MAH staff, past and current, we cannot thank you too much for being our primary go to clinic. You are the gem in McLean and in this industry which is rapidly consolidating into the hands of few major players but we hope you can stay independent for decades to come. Kudos to you all. Yuri K”

“The vets, and vet techs (especially Erika), are the best! The kindest and most compassionate. We recently took our Lulu to them for canine dental cleaning which requires general anesthesia. We had some anxiety about how the whole procedure would work, but when we came back to pick Lulu up, she was lying comfortably on a towel, covered by a blanket. Erika sat with us as she came around explaining what we could expect as she came out of anesthesia. Very sweet! She even offered to carry her out to our car since Lulu could walk yet. They even trimmed her toenails while she was out at no extra charge! Highly recommend all around!”
