“This morning at MAH, I was tearing up over the thought of losing access to this amazing hospital if and when we move. In 2006, we moved to McLean for the school district. In 2024, we are dragging our feet to move out of McLean because we love this hospital so much. It has been the rock for our 12 pets we have had over the last 18 years. Many of the staff have worked here for decades and they are literally family not just a business. They speak with one voice and act with one heart with the best interests of the pets and their human parents in mind. When in need, they have a vast network of specialized vets which they can tap into with ease in the most timely manner. The fabric of people there, their strong bond, is what makes it possible to enable consistently high quality of dedicated care. They have been with us through the most challenging of times, and every time, we are grateful we have been able to have our pets in the care of the best of the best. Yes, they may be pricey, but we have to understand the amount of training, the amount of education, the amount of experience day in and day out that goes behind the outstanding care they provide. To all MAH staff, past and current, we cannot thank you too much for being our primary go to clinic. You are the gem in McLean and in this industry which is rapidly consolidating into the hands of few major players but we hope you can stay independent for decades to come. Kudos to you all. Yuri K”

“Dr Choi was amazing with my dog, Cooper, who had lost use of his hind legs and wasn't eating or drinking! A different vet I saw a few days prior had suggested I consider putting him down. I decided to see Dr. Choi a few days later. Now, a week after seeing Dr. Choi, Cooper is walking around, eating and drinking. The stairs are still challenging but he is well on his way to being himself again! Dr. Choi cared about Cooper and did everything she could to make him comfortable and help him heal. I am so grateful to her and won't take Cooper anywhere else ever again! They are pricier here than other places but Dr. Choi is well worth it!”
