A simple Yelp review may not be enough , in fact i know not enough to compensate Greg for certain, maybe other stafff is not bad either. i VE BEEN DEALING WITH GREG FOF 10 YEARS. I have been fortunate to have dealt with some other good managers in the past, but Greg has yet to disappoint. He goes out of his way, and spends time beyond the call of duty to help. When I finish this, i am writing to management. Too bad my contacts , at the highest level of United have retires. As prior stockholder, i met the CEO of Virginia Commerce Bank Peter Converse , which bank got acquired by United Bank. However, I will fw this to the CEO of United Virginia Bank. GREG IS THE ASSISTANT MANAGER IS THE BEST! TIME TO GIVE HIM HIS OWN BRANCH! O TRANSFER HIM TO CORP HQ AT HIGHER POSITION, . BESIDES BEING HELPFUL, HE KNOWS HIS BUSINESS!

BEST BANK I'VE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF DEALING WITH!!! Greg is by far the customer service guru and I've never seen anyone like him. I've recommended all of my employees open an account with them and each one has thanked me over and over for doing so. Not only does this bank offer excellent benefits it's very accommodating and always has plenty of tellers so waiting isn't an issue. Everyone there treats me like family walking in and they are all so nice. Just believe me when I tell you that this is the bank for you that you've been looking for. Jason G.

Staff not very attentive. Was trying to help my fixed income mom consolidate her Bill's via home equity loan. They treated her poorly and unfairly as if she was a deadbeat. The loan amount was a very small fraction of her paid off homes value and with a 30 year note even on her fixed income she would have been able to pay off in 5 years. On top of that absolutely no security when they request forms with personal information like ssn and birth dates etc... wanted them sent VIA unsecure email. This banking institution is stuck in the dinosaur age as far as technology goes. They also attempt to push you towards financial products they make commission on instead of what you go in and request. To top it off their interest rates they quoted were considerably higher than other financial institutions. Needless to say we went to a different more friendly institution with better rates and closed all accounts here in favor of a much more technologically up to date institution

Online banking is lacking horribly, something ine would expect from a bank in the 1990's. Loan forms sent via email are low quality and not editable is PC. They do not offer a secure method for uploading forms containing personal information like ssn... loan officers seem more interested in pushing products other than what you request and have poor communication throughout the process. I knew there was a reason I've been with my current technologically up to date bank.. . Thanks for helping me I understand what a bad banking institution looks like.

I rarely leave a review but this bank is the best bank branch I have ever been to in my life. I've been a customer of Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase, TD Bank, Navy Federal, Wachovia, Middleburg Bank, Suntrust, First Union and many others in the past, but this bank has the most fringe benefits out of all of them and the least amount of fees.
