Just had a great experience with TwinTech! Our air conditioner went down during the hottest week of the year. After visits from 2 other companies and eye-popping quotes to replace the entire system, Eric showed up, identified the issue, and repaired the system for a very reasonable price. Professional and courteous service. Parts are good for 5 years and labor for 90 days. Highly recommend. We will use them again. Thank you Eric!

I needed a new heat pump and air handler. I solicited 3 estimates, including Twin Tech and 2 from locally advertised large HVAC companies. After we compared similar units, Twin Tech’s estimate came in approximately 15% cheaper. They installed quickly and efficiently with great clean up. Lesson learned: Large local HVAC companies that advertise have to recover their marketing costs through cost pass throughs. Give Twin Tech a call. Our AC was flooding our basement on a holiday weekend and although Twintech was closed, they took my call immediately and offered to walk us through the fix so we didn’t have to spend the whole weekend in the heat. John face-timed with me and my son for almost an hour to help us trouble shoot our leak. Looking forward to having him out to replace our copper pipe with PVC and clear our system to avoid future floods. John’s patience and willingness to help us out of a jam was very much appreciated. TwinTech. I love working with TwinTech! This is an honest and reputable family owned small business. They just installed a new gas furnace for me on May 26. My old furnace had a gas leak, and I shut off the gas at end of March for safety. TwinTech tried to order the replacement part, but the age of the furnace and supply chain issues made that impossible. I got several estimates before deciding on TwinTech. Their price was neither the lowest or highest, but they are local and I've had excellent experiences with them so far. My research confirmed that TwinTech gave me a very fair price on my replacement furnace, as I knew they would. The install went smoothly, and they cleaned up afterward. They answered all my questions, and replaced the gas shutoff valve with one meeting current code. The Alexandria City Code Inspection confirms the work was competed to code. I've had an annual HVAC maintenance contract with TwinTech for several years, and trust them to work safely with gas appliances. They installed my gas water about 2 years ago. I highly recommend them for HVAC and hot water heater replacements.Services: HVAC system maintenance

My parents have been using Twin Tech for years. Our heating system wasn’t working today and even after hours Eric and John helped us. John was able to call and FaceTime with my husband and they both got it working again. They came on a Friday and charged me $350 and could not fixed my ac and told me I needed new one and said they would give me a quote by the end of the week. Later that day they called me and told me I need a new electrical panel without even looking at it. Two weeks later they did not follow up with a quote on getting a new one. Glad I started looking after they left. They did however put there stickers on everything I owned.

Five stars isn't enough for the service we got from Philip. Our downstairs A/C unit went out a little over a week ago - so we called out our service provider. They came out, ran some tests, and told us our unit was dead - that the compressor was shot and that even cheapest fix would be impractical ($3k+) given the age of the unit. So, we started getting bids to replace the unit. TwinTech came out - and we were fully prepared to just buy a new unit. But Philip asked "hey, did they try this when they were out?" I said no - so he went out...and got the compressor running again in about 10 minutes. Three thoughts about why this happened. First - customer focus. Rather than just focus on selling me what I wanted, he figured out what I needed and delivered. Second - long term value creation. Sure, they got paid about 5% of what they'd have gotten from selling me a new unit. But I'm pretty sure they'll be selling us two new ones when we do our renovation. Third - they don't have one guy to sell, a different guy to fix, a different guy to install. Thrilled that I found this company.

This is the third time I've used this company and am extremely pleased. My water heater died yesterday morning and a tech came by in the afternoon to give me a quote. The techs arrived at 9:00 this morning and finished the installation by 11:30. Philip and Patrick were friendly, polite and professional. I wish all companies were this honest, courteous and competent.

We can't say enough about the team at TwinTech. When our (very old) AC died in a heatwave--and on a holiday--they came out to repair it and kept it working until we could get a new one. When they came to install a new AC outside (and a new water heater in the basement) they were so professional, respectful, and efficient. We highly recommend TwinTech and will absolutely use their services going forward.Services: AC repair
