Went in to buy a case of beer with my friend. He forgot his ID and so we were denied sale despite having a photo of his ID. This is not what made me very angry.
I was extremely angry when after we agreed that we would follow their policy and returned the alcohol, we then attempted to buy a bag of chips and some mints. We were denied buying chips and mints (non alcoholic) because my friend was missing his ID. Last I checked, there was no law regarding age limit when purchasing chips or mints. This was absolutely ridiculous, and this policy is absurd and beyond what is reasonable. To clarify, the second transaction had ZERO alcohol.

Great selection of adult beverages. Beer and thousands of wines. Buy beer the case. It is way less expensive than regular beer stores, and the selection is impressive.

Kudos to Total Wine. An associate by the name of Keenan helped us with our selections, recommending substitutions when necessary, and made two trips to our car where he helped with loading 3 baskets of purchases. His help was deeply appreciated and he refused to accept a tip.

Waited in the checkout line, all the people in front of me got greeting with a smile on the faces of the employees. As soon as I got there, nothing. They were rude and aggressive. I greeted them and they didn’t bother saying anything back. It’s fine if you don’t want to socialize but it is not right if I saw you treat others one way and treat me another way. It was almost as if they are racist towards me. All the people in front of me were white… only this branch has treated me this way. All the other branches in NOVA have much better staff
